12 x 18 sheet cake - how many will it serve?
i have a wilton 12" x 18" x 2" cake pan. I don't distinguish if this is considered a full sheet or not but i need to know how many people it will serve?
12 x 18 inch cut into 2 x 2 inches serves 54 people.
Sheet Cake - Full sheet serves 80 to 90
Half Sheet Cake - Half Sheet serves 45 to 50

That sounds like a 1/2 sheet to me, as I by a hair's breadth served a 1/4 sheet at my daughter's bday and it was about half that size.

No this would be considered a half sheet. It will for approxamatly 50 people if you cut the pieces 2"x 2"
It depends on how beamy a slice you cut, of course, so you really can not answer this definitively. Get out the pan, see how you would slice it and then you will know how many servings YOU would get.
Well, it depends on how big you cut the pieces. If you cut a 2 inch by 2 inch chunk, then I would think it would cut into 54 pieces...but, to be sure simply call a bakery and ask how many they figure that size sheet cake would serve.

i would assumption around 12-14 people depending on how big you cut the slices a 4-4 peice of cake sounds good to me and youd be skilful to get about 14 of those out of a cake that big.

Depends on how big the pieces are! 3/4 sheet is the immensity.You have to concider some people will not eat cake! Probaly about 60 it small pieces.

if you cut into 2"x3" pieces you will get 36 pieces
If 9"x13" is a quarter sheet cake, and 12"x18" is half a sheet, then what would an 11"x 15" be called?
odd sized! I confidence in the right answer would be based on how may cups of batter the pan holds. It would probably be considered slightly smaller than a half sheet.

I use this info from wilton.com a lot. It tells you how many cups of pound you need for different sized pans, cooking time and temp., and how much icing you need to frost your cake. I find it very cooperative.
