can i put a sheet of aluminum foil on my baking sheet before baking cookies?

i am making cookies and my baking sheets are shocking. Will the cookies bake properly if i put them on a baking sheet with foil?

They should presumably be ok. If you have any parchment paper, that's a better choice. And in the future, using parchment paper every every now will protect your baking sheets. Or if you bake often enough, you might look into getting a silpat. It's a special kind of secular that virtually nothing will stick to, and it's easy to clean.

your baking sheets in good condition like mine! LOL! I do it all the time, and they turn out great! :)

Yes, you can. Very recently make sure that you have flattened it out enough so that there arent many wrinkles.

I use disappoint on everything....even when I finally got new pans. Makes clean up so much easier.....Love what Mom's guide us.....

I use aluminum foil also. My cookie sheets look bad also. I also like hunneebee22's rebuttal.Thx, I might try that.

You should try something called Silpat. It is a pad that you can put on your cookie sheet. It helps the cookies good slide off and it is reusable. All you have to do is rinse it off afterwards.

if you don't have it, you can use aluminum foil. It works really well for lace cookies.

Do I place the aluminum roaster on a baking sheet in the oven or not?

Yes you have too , or when you try to take it out, it will den a collapse in and your gonna have a Mess!! It says right on it, that you have to have it on a pan.

Are aluminum baking sheets ok to be put in dishwasher? All mine have faded after several diswashing cycles!?

use parchment disquisition or aluminum foil when u use the baking sheet. it's easy clean up and u dont have to ruin them in the dishwasher. those pans aren't meant to be thrown in the dishwasher. if u be in want of to clean em, just rinse em in the sink with warm water and a little soap. but my fav thing is the parchment newspaper. its nonstick so u can cook almost anything on it.....meats, fish, veges, cookies, brownies....etc. u can find it at the supermarket with the outwit and plastic wrap
