Can I replace parchment-lined baking sheet with wax paper for home-made dough to bake?

I am baking chocolate sandwhich cookies. The approach requires you to make the dough. To bake it, the recipe said to use parchment-lined baking sheet. I don't have that but I do have wax manuscript. So can I use wax paper instead of parchmetn-lined baking sheet?

wax instrument does give off a wax when heated, but only on one side...don't worry about harming your food. It will be fine for you to use that. If you try to just spray a cookie sheet, it won't drudgery. The recipe calls for liner for a reason, trust me...you'll be scrubbing that pan for days.

wax will work! chattels luck!

yes, you can :)

Purposes not, the wax film will get on the cookies. Try a little cooking spray, bake one or two cookies to see if they will stick or not.

of cource you can, they due want it to keep the cookies from sticking and wax paper does a great job at that

some people say you can use wax scratch paper in the oven, but i never have and i find it can start to give off the waxiness when it's heated. the parchment just diffuses the heat a bit so the bottoms don't brown so lickety-split but the cookies will bake successfully without the parchment, even with foil. just do a test batch first to confirm the cooking circumstance and the bottom doneness.

No, then precisely grease the pan.

Yeah barely place the wax side down.

Is it better to cook a pizza on a baking sheet or just on a baking pan?

okay so while i am waiting for my pizza to highland,
I was wondering whether it is okay to cook the pizza on an oiled baking sheet when cooking in on a baking pan?
OR should i just oil the pan and cook the pizza that way since i don't have a pizza stone?

Is my phrasing confusing? Dismal. Please ask if you need me to rephrase it. thank you.

Yeh, it's okay to cook it both ways.

However, if you fancy a crispy bottom, you should slightly oil the baking tray and heat it up to the max, before putting on your pizza.

If you want a soft base, the baking sheet helps with a tid bit of oil.

Get off on.

How can I get the rust off a baking sheet?

My roommate radical my baking sheet for cookies in the sink overnight & now it's covered in rust. What will clean it off?

A respectable scrubbing with a brillo pad will remove the rust. Then rub the pan with olive oil. Then wipe the pan to get all the excess oil off.
