The way I think half and half cakes is pretty simple, and you only need to use one pan. I prepare both of my mixes and then use aluminum foil turned over several times until it is moderately sturdy. Place the foil in the middle of the pan to keep the batter separated as you pour the cakes. Just dismiss the foil before baking and that's it. I am sure there is a more "professional" way to make half and half cakes, but I honest use what I have in my kitchen, and this method has worked well for me. Also, when I make a larger sheet cake, I use an inverted flower nail which helps the cake bake evenly. Assign sure you grease the flower nail and put it in the middle of your pan before you pour the cakes. Hope this helps!

TAKE YOUR Formula FOR SHEET CAKE AND DIVIDE IT IN HALF. YOU'LL HAVE YOUR ANSWER FOR ALL OF THE INGREDIENTS.

To fill a run-of-the-mill size half sheet pan you'll need about 2 1/2 boxes of cake mix. I usually just fill one small single layer with the other half, and use it for extras :) Always satisfactory to have a little layer to snack on before the event that you're making the sheet cake for!

Katie -- A sheet pan Euphemistic pre-owned in bakeries are
16" x 24" inside measurements. 18" x 26"
fa measurements. So that would make a half sheet pan 12" x 16" But the sheet pans you buy at non professional outlets
would all things considered be the 11"x15" that you mentioned in your poste.
The even Numbers in the professional sheet pans allows the baker to cut the cakes into the most average size serving pieces which are 2"x2" or 2x3". also it allowes room for 2 dozen cookies and
so on and so on.

the in the most suitable way way to make a cake is to use milk in your cake mix but as far as the pan is concern I suggest that you get the right sizes for it because you cake will go flat. so don't use double the MO it'll make it waterier
