I borrowed it to bake biscuts on it I against non stick spray and now no matter how hard I scrub with the dobie pad this hardened film wont obtain off.
I'd try these things:
1) Some of the same non-project spray, but don't cook it this time. It might dissolve the residue.
2) Rubbing alcohol
3) vegetable or mineral oil
Try the rubbing hooch on a small area first to make sure it won't remove the non-stick coating. It almost certainly won't, but greater safe than sorry.
If these don't work and you get desperate, try some nail polish remover. But for this you really should trial it on a small area, since it might attack the cookie sheet.

to bake rubbish. There seems to be some kind of chemical reaction happening because when I remove the foil from the cookie sheet there is some kind a sticky remainder in between. It doesn't matter what I cook it happens with anything. You may ask why I'm covering a nonstick cookie sheet - the answer is I'm lazy and don't want to scrub it. The cookie sheets are old and I feel not so nonstick anymore anyhow. Have you ever covered a dark nonstick cookie sheet with foil and had them stick to each other leaving a glue type burden that won't come off?

It is extremely difficult to get off, but if you have some spray on oven cleaner, it will get rid of it. Take the sheets outside, spray and let them set for an hour or so. When you wash them, the residue should come off. Be sure to wear gloves and use only in a ventilated precinct. If you need to scrub, use baking soda - it won't scratch or generate fumes.

* 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
* 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
* 1 Tbsp. pure vanilla abstract
* 1 cup semisweet or dark chocolate chips
* 3/4 cup chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Extend two cookie sheets with nonstick spray. In a large bowl, cream together pumpkin, sugars, butter and egg. In a ashamed dish, dissolve baking soda into milk. Set aside. In a separate bowl, stir together flours, baking competence, salt and spices. Add baking soda mixture to flour mixture.
Add flour mixture to pumpkin mingling, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix or the batter will get tough. Add vanilla extract, chocolate chips and walnuts. Nip by rounded spoonfuls onto prepared cookie sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
