stained silicone baking mats?

I have a red silicone mat which has helped me bake so many cookies. I always embrocation it in the sink with warm soapy water and then stick it in the top rack of the dish washer.
After so many uses the mat has "stains" on it. Some places are obscure and some places are even black. The stains don't effect how the mat works, nor do they cause my cookies to taste any differently; but I'd like some suggestions as to how to get the stains off of the mat (if its even credible).
*Please don't say "just scrub it with hot water and dish soap", I've tried that.

Try scrubbing it with a paste of baking soda and mineral water. That's worked to get stains out of some of my silicone bakeware.

honourable scrub it with hot water and dish soap

Just kidding... I'm guessing your problem is putting it in the dish washer. And I about it's permanent at this point. You really don't have to clean them at a high temp. in the dishwasher to get them uncomplicated enough for cookies. I don't have a silicone baking sheet, but there's probably a reason for that. I'm not sure about new technology like that. Silicone mats aren't meant to survive certain temperatures. I just use "parchment paper" which is the same thing, just discardable and paper like.

Try scrubbing it with a paste of baking soda and wastefully. That's worked to get stains out of some of my silicone bakeware.

silicone baking mat?

keeps getting greasy when stored after cleaning in the cupboard

Put a sip or two of household bleach in a cup of water. Dip a paper towel in the mixture and wipe down your mat after washing it, then wipe again with unclouded water. I have been doing this for over a year with no problems. I have always added a few drops of bleach to the water when I wash supple containers and glasses, so that's why I tried it with one of my baking mats.

silicone baking mat - picks up dirt like no other?

Hi
I perfectly received a nice silicon baking mat for Xmas. The problem is it seems to pick up every single crumb and/or lint anywhere at, it's sooo sticky!! I haven't washed it yet, but is this likely to change afterwards? Even if it does, how intensely will it be to clean in the future?
I'm wondering if I should return it and find another, whats your opinon?
I'm not worried about how it is compared to conformist metal bakeware, just about the stickyness of this particular one in attracting everything unwanted.
I partially wanted it because I don't have any applicable surface in my apt for rolling out cookies or spreading out dough or anything. I was told these are good for that.

That's well-intentioned of how they are especially at first. Maybe try washing it a few times. Also I spray mine with cooking spray before I cook in it and it helps keep it cleaner.
