I fervour my new Silpat sheet pan liner. It keeps the bottoms of my cookies from getting too dark because they don't get so hot on the sheet pan. They also slide off like magical. However....a cookie that usually take 10 - 12 minutes doesn't look done in the same amount of time. If I bake them until favourite, they are hard as a rock and dry.
How do I adjust the time for baking cookies on my Silpat Silicone pan liner???
I often use either silpat liners or parchment gift-wrapping and don't find the need to adjust the temp or baking time at all. Maybe just let the cookies rest on the sheet after removing them from the oven.
they're a bit over the odds but i'd love to try them. are they the same as the plain silicone baking sheets i've seen (for less money)?
They are a short better because they hold up better in the oven when cooking at extremely hot temperatures but if you're just making cookies, I'd go with the usual silicon baking sheets because those silpats are really for industrial use.
