You get what you pay for (no, you get less)!
OK - so baking sheets are a root necessity. We have several stacked & wedged into oven drawers, many with the mandatory irremovable grease stains on the corners. This artifact seemed reasonably priced, and when we looked for the right type of sheet to heat up leftovers or a small batch of hors-oeuvres, this seemed to fit the bill. First difficulty happened right out of the box. The product sticker was too firmly stuck to teh sheet, and no amount of soaking & picking managed to get the darned obsession off. So ok, we resorted to scratching, which of course abraded the surface a little, but worked. Now the real 'sticker' : no weight what we baked, no matter what temperature, it burned or got firmly stuck on the sheet. And not because the sticker came off poorly. So, above folks, this product failed on every count, being non-stick, and frankly on being a baking sheet 0- unless you call violent baking! (You'll see the same review on the Range Kleen "Medium Baking Sheet")

Still looks like new
I've hand-me-down this cookie sheet a lot now, close to every week for half a year. It still looks like new, but that may be because I often pair it up with a silicone mat that fits exquisitely inside it. I had been wanting a little cookie sheet for several years never being able to find one in the stores. Thank you Amazon for making such purchases practical and easy. This pan does a great job of cooking foods at the listed temperature/time and cooks them evenly with no warping of the sheet. I am amazed at how mild this sheet still is to clean after it's many uses let alone it still shines as if new. It's a great little cookie sheet. If that's what you're looking for don't hesitate to purchase this one.

Need cookie recipe three small balls sticked together with clove in center. My mom baked them in 1964?
Dec 23, 2006 by Eneida M | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
I don't grasp the recipe name, but she had a small cookie recipes book (maybe Betty Crocker). The dough was white and she would concoct three small balls, and placed them on the cookie sheet in a triangle form tightly together and would place a clove in the center. The recipe enlist was red and white (like checkers).

Bermuda Triangle Cookies
For the Pastry Crust:
3 cups all-persistence flour
1/2 cup sugar
Pinch of salt
10 ounces, cold sweet butter, cut into small pieces
2 eggs, lightly beaten
For the Almond Topping:
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/2 cup downhearted cream
1 ounce butter
8 ounces sliced almonds
TO MAKE THE PASTRY CRUST: In a adipose mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, and salt. Add the butter, and using two knives or a pastry blender, blend the butter into the flour until the combination resembles coarse oatmeal. Add the eggs and mix until the dough can be formed into a compact ball. Wrap the ball in pliable wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Prepare a 12-x-17-inch jelly uncurl pan by lining it with parchment paper.
Roll out the pastry into a 1/8-inch-thick sheet that will cover the entire guts of the pan and up along the sides. Fit the dough into the jelly roll pan, and using the tines of a fork, poke holes into the dough every few inches. The holes will let the steam out of the dough while it is cooking and thereby retard the dough from developing bubbles and bulges. Chill the dough for 10 minutes.
Bake until lightly lustrous brown, about 20 to 25 minutes. Do not turn the oven off.
TO MAKE THE ALMOND TOPPING: In a distressing sauce pan, over medium-high heat, combine the sugar, honey, heavy cream, and butter. Cause the mixture to a boil and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until a deep caramel color appeals. Mix in the almonds.
Flow the mixture over the pastry crust in the jelly roll pan. Spread the almond mixture into an even layer.
Earnings the pan to the oven and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and allow to cool in the pan. When the pastry is from beginning to end cool, cut it into triangles.

If they use each cookie sheet only once, how many cookie sheets will they need?
Jan 23, 2008 by Jeffrey Z | Posted in Mathematics
Ms. Gold's type is baking Valentine goodies for the entire grade. They want to be sure they have enough for the 96 children and 4 teachers to be gifted to have one each of each type of cookie. They decided they would fit the different size cookies on each cookie sheet by following this plan:
Small heart butter cookies: 6 rows of 6 cookies per sheet
Road heart sugar cookies: 5 rows of 5 cookies per sheet
Giant heart frosted cookies: 3 rows of 4 cookies per sheet
Alienate the number of cookies per sheet into 100 (96 +4) and then round up your answer so that you have enough
e.g. 6 x 6 = 36 100/36 = 2 remainder 28 so spell beat up
You need 3 sheets for the small ones, and so on ...

What will happen if you cut a hole in a cookie sheet then heat it?
Feb 09, 2007 by Wael K | Posted in Engineering
We skilled in that metal expands when heated, so what will happen if you cut a hole the size of a quarter in the center of a cookie sheet, then pop it in the oven until it's very hot? Will a three months still fit in the hole? Will the hole be bigger or small and why?
Thanks!
The perforate will expand as if was filled with metal. You can can visualize that by assuming that your cookie sheet is actually 4 thin metal bars arranged in a decent, with the hole being the hollow center. Heating up the "cookie sheet" will expand each of the 4 thin bars in length (in extensiveness as well, but we can neglect that for the time being). Suppose each bars expand by 5%; what happens to the hole? It is 5% longer in all the directions as well.
The "dilatation of holes" is in actuality used extensively to produce what is called an interference fit. You heat the outer cylinder and chill the center knock, then slip the hollow cylinder over the center shaft. When the cylinder cools, it contracts on the shaft providing a very watertight fit.
