Ingredients:
***Sheet Cake***
2 cups granulated sugar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup splash
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup buttermilk
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla extort
***Chocolate-Mocha Frosting***
6 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/3 cup strong coffee
3 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla cull
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:

Sheet Cake: Sift sugar, flour, baking soda and cinnamon together into a charitable mixing bowl. Set aside.

Combine water, butter or margarine, oil and cocoa in a small saucepan and resuscitate to a boil, stirring constantly. Watch carefully so mixture does not scorch. Pour over dry ingredients and mix well.

Compound buttermilk, eggs and vanilla extract and stir into chocolate batter. Pour batter into a greased and floured 9 x 13 inch cake pan. Bake at 375 degrees F for 25 minutes (measure longer if using a glass pan).

Start making Chocolate Mocha Frosting about 5 minutes before cake is done.

Chocolate-Mocha Frosting: Unite butter or margarine, cocoa and coffee in a small saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Stir in confectioners' sugar piece by piece. Add vanilla extract and pecans. Mix and spread on the hot cake while it is still in the pan.

Definitive TEXAS SHEET CAKE

Cake:
Buttermilk substitute: ½ Cup minus 1 Tablesp. Milk. Add one Tablesp. White or apple cider vinegar to the out and set aside before combining the dry ingredients.

Grease a 15X10X1-inch or jelly roll pan or a 13X9X2-inch baking pan; set aside. In a unfettered bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking soda, and salt; set aside.

In a medium saucepan compound 1 cup butter, 1/3 cup cocoa, and 1 cup of water

Bring mixture to a boil, stirring constantly. Do away with from heat. With an electric hand-held mixer on medium speed, beat chocolate mingling into the dry mixture until thoroughly blended. Add 2 eggs, 1/2 cup buttermilk, and 1 tsp.vanilla. Beat for 1 minute (strike will be thin). Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake in a 350° oven about 25 minutes for the jelly tossing pan or 35 minutes for the 13X9-inch pan, or until a wooden pick or cake tester inserted in center comes out dust.

Pour warm chocolate frosting over the warm cake, spreading evenly. Place cake in pan on a wire batter; cool thoroughly before cutting.

Frosting:
In a medium saucepan combine 1/4 cup butter or margarine, 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa the goods, and 3 tablespoons buttermilk. Bring to a boil. Remove from heat; add 2 1/4 cups sifted confectioners' sugar and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla. Pound until smooth. If desired, stir in 1/2 cup coarsely chopped pecans.

Here is my mom's recipe and I LOVE it...she worn to make it for my birthday cakes.
It seems long, but it is pretty simple. Make sure you don't draw up the icing until the cake is already completely cool, or it will harden up on you.
CAKE:
2 C flour
2C sugar
1/2 C butter
3-4 Tbs cocoa
1C Water
1/2 C shortening (I straight use extra butter)
1/2 C buttermilk
1tsp baking soda
2 eggs
1tsp vanilla
**Mix flour and sugar in sturdy bowl. Heat water, cocoa butter and shortening to a boil. Remove from heat and add to flour intermingling. Mix well. Add buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and baking soda. Mix well and spread in cookie sheet. BAKE AT 375` for 20-25 minutes.

Reward RECPIE:
1/2 C butter
3Tbs cocoa
6Tbs milk
3 3/4 C powdered sugar (equal to about one box)
1tsp vanilla
1tsp cinnamon
**Excitement butter, cocoa, and milk to a boil. Remove from heat and mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon. Rain ON CAKE WHEN CAKE IS COMPLETELY COOL.

This cake is one and the same, principled 2 different names. My best childhood friend's mom used to make it and I haven't been adept to locate the recipe. I remember that it was chocolate, had pecans and caramels in it. If anyone would share their recipe, I would appreciate it.

More Than Sex Cake

1 German chocolate or other chocolate cake, baked, 13x9x2-inch
3/4 cup fudge topping
3/4 cup caramel or butterscotch topping
3/4 cup sweetened condensed bleed
6 chocolate covered toffee bars
1 tub of whipped topping or 1 envelope Dream Whip, able with milk
PREPARATION:
Do not remove cake from pan. After the cake has cooled, make holes in the entire top of the cake using a large fork or the command of a wooden spoon. Pour (one at a time) fudge, butterscotch, and condensed milk over the top of the cake and let each flavor souse in before adding the next. Crush 3 of the candy bars and sprinkle on the top. Frost the cake with the whipped topping and crush the 3 uneaten toffee bars to decorate the top.

Ingredients:
1 cup hot brewed coffee
1 cup butter
5 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa energy
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon punch
3 eggs
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup butter
6 tablespoons drain
6 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
4 cups confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 cup chopped pecans


Procedures:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 12x18 inch sheet pan. In a saucepan, link coffee, 1 cup butter and 5 tablespoons cocoa. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and stir until fluent. Remove from heat and set aside.
In a large bowl, combine flour, white sugar, baking soda and hoard. Make a well in the center and pour in eggs, sour cream and 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix well, then beat in cocoa mix. Spread into prepared pan.
Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out washed. Frost while still warm.
To make the Frosting: In a saucepan, combine 1/2 cup butter, milk and 6 tablespoons cocoa. Effect to a boil, reduce temperature and stir until smooth. Remove from heat and blend in the confectioners' sugar. Stir in 1 teaspoon vanilla and chopped pecans. Spread on cake while still violent.
