We Can't ALL like everything
I purchased this cookbook and did the 2 week Summer Series with a friend. We shopped together and cooked 14 meals for 2 families (28 meals total). The cooking day went by so indecorous and we had a blast cooking and still have fun comparing likes and dislikes of each recipe. It is great to come home and have dinner planned and game within minutes. We are planning to cook another 14 meals (2 week cycle) at the end of the month for next month. While my relatives doesn't like ALL the recipes, we are making notes on how to tailor the meals to our family tastes next time. Several of the recipes made more than 4 servings so it has lasted longer than 2 weeks. I advised of that I have saved money just in the 2 weeks that I tried (Summer Cycle). ***The website [...] has printable menues and shopping lists for timesaving tools AND a one week sampler.
ok
im a fan of there first onece a month cook paperback, and the first recipe that i made in this one turned out not so great. kinda worried about wasting money and trying other recipes from this book. quess i will pike to the first book, dissapointed in this one.
Eminent cooking system
I have tried the 30 day cooking method for 2 months now. In February completing the 1st 30 day rotation. I adjusted the plan to eliminate a few recipes I was sure my family would not like and ended up with at least 17 meals in the freezer. It was surprising how very likely they went together although I was very tired at the end of the day. I was a little nervous about trying so many new recipes at one time but they have all been delicious! It has been such a relief not having to modify meals when I get home from work. I would highly recommend this book. It also has allowed me to look at my favorite recipes in a new way and I procedure to incorporate them into the system as well.
So comprehensible!
I bought this cookbook when gravid with my second. I thought I'd get some meals in the freezer before he arrived and it would save some sanity in the beginning. I never got around to it, but a little bit after succeeding back to work, I was finding it difficult and stressful to get dinner on the table in a timely fashion each night. So, I waited until we at bottom needed to go shopping (I suggest doing this as some stuff is cooked and frozen, and other meals are prepared and frozen and defrosting and re-bone-chilling is a no-no). The lists are already in the book, from the items you will likely have on hand, to the things you'll need to get, to the types of storage containers you'll penury! It also maps out your prep/cook order for each cycle. i.e. chop 5 onions, slice two...while browning edibles, prepare X, etc. I found it really useful. I looked into other bulk cooking books, but it seemed as though you had to pick your meals, compile a shopping list, figure out the prep order, etc (too much work for me!) I will say, though, it's not for the faint of heart! It was EXHAUSTING to do, and I've only done 14 meal cycles. I was wiped at the end of the day, but the payoff of being superior to pop something in the oven when I got home is great. Even if the cooking time may be 45 minutes, I don't have to do any of the prep, so I get that time back to spend with my boys. So far, we've liked all of the recipes, even my picky 5 year old is eating them (a accomplishment in itself!) Some of the recipes even leave us with enough as leftovers for lunch the next day. I would highly recommend and am planning to cook this way more often!
Terrific!
I have the creative OAMC book, and received this in a contest. I like the first book, but some of the recipes weren't things I could get my husband to eat (he's a denote-n-potatoes guy). This one has TONS of recipes that are simple and yummy - not only will he eat them, but now that I have to work late evenings, I know that he can make them as well!

I stand up for this book to all of my friends and family who are interested in OAMC - it's so easy and well put together, anyone can follow and save themselves time and wherewithal!

A- book!

Neonate food made easy.
This is a loving terrible beginners book for anyone starting out making baby food. This is my first child and this book has given me able success cooking for my baby. I will never buy jarred food again. It is so easy to do it yourself.
Famed guidelines for baby's first solids
This laws contains great guidelines for how to prepare first foods for your baby. I say "guidelines" because I followed my pediatrician's recommendations on what to suggest when instead of the book's. I used the ages as guidelines as well, as we started our guy on solids at 3 mos, so I just moved along take note of. What I appreciated most were the tips for getting the most nutritionally out of the foods (ie baking sweet potatoes in the skin as contrasted with of peeling them first, same with apples & pears) and information on what nutritional value each food provides a rapidly growing babe. Also valuable information on how long each type of food keeps, both in the fridge & freezer. As Jr. gets older, there are also recipes for when you start eating together as a one's own flesh that are suitable with regards to salt, sugar, fat, etc. for the little one and also yummy (with a little seasoning added...) for mom & dad. As an avid home-chef, this words really provided me with some guidance for how to translate our family's love of cooking & food into something our son can participate in as well. (Added reward - the photos are beautifully styled, secretly what drew me to the book in the first place!)

Cooking queen rises to the Pillsbury Bake-Off Access Atlanta

Over three decades, she’s won thousands of dollars -- not to allusion kitchenware, appliances and free trips to Spain and Tuscany -- in recipe and cooking contests. She cooked on "The Today Show" with Willard Scott. As a return for a strawberry shortcake pie recipe, her face graced a limited edition of cans of Eagle Manufacturer Sweetened Condensed Milk.

Despite her success, Lever was unsatisfied.

She’d never been picked to collide in the biggest cooking contest of all: the Pillsbury Bake-Off.

“It is,” she declared, “the queen nourisher of all contests.”

But her decades of frustration disappeared last year when she got the fateful acceptance call from Pillsbury. In April, she’ll conterminous with 99 other kitchen wizards to compete in the 44th annual competition in Orlando.

“I was totally astounded and, credit it or not, speechless,” she said. “I sat down. I was in the kitchen. I took a deep breath and said, ‘I’ve made it.’ ”

I would also suggest a book called "The Joy of Cooking"

The arbitrary best? Cook something. Look at what is in the refridgerator, the pantry and put something together. I do this at least once a week, we call it "What we got" night because it is what we got in the kitchenette.
