Does anyone have any great, easy, crowd pleasing appetizer recipes for holiday parties?

I affection to cook and want to see what kind of good things you all have going on out there! Desserts and appetizer recipes would be great!

What about Rumaki? You can use chicken liver (or chicken if you Dislike liver lol) - then you cube the meat and with each little cube, you add a slice from a water chestnut. Wrap it with bacon (perhaps half of a slice) and stick a toothpick in it. Make as many as you need. Here's the sauce:
Brown sugar, soy cheekiness, sherry wine (if desired), a little chopped garlic, and ginger. Mix well and pour over the rumake, tap and then broil, turning frequently, until done. You need the bacon to be crispy and the meat to be cooked all the way through.
These are very elegant and stirring for a party.

Does any one have any good appetizer recipes?

In August my mom, dad, and I have to descend upon up with a meal for dinner when we are at Mustang Island visting our family. My mom wants to make this soup formula we got from http://allrecipes.com and I do not like it. I came up an idea for appetizers. I want to help in the cooking and have something I like as well. My kith and kin has Mexican food a lot since they live near Mexico. I was hoping for appetizer recipes that are not Mexican. The only recipes I have are a meatball one, artichoke dip, and, these unquestionably good Shish kebabs my dad makes using steak. If you can I need just a few more recipes.
Nobody. That is a wonderful end. As I am writing I am looking on Kraftfoods.
