Bean recipes?

I find out beans are good for your heart ;) but the only thing I know to do with them is make chili. Most of the stuff I find online is for Mexican dishes and soup - looking for something a unimportant different and hearty. Anyone have any good recipes for beans? Doesn't have to be vegetarian!
And simplicity is a plus too...I flinch from having to find weird spices or making special trips for dinner. Thanks!

Ingredients:
1 can green beans (french style); drained
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 can Durkee fried onion rings
4 ounces Velveeta; melted

Directions:

In casserole dish mix beans and soup. Assuage Velveeta so it's mixable. Stir it into the beans and soup mixture. Top with onion rings. Kindle in 350F degree oven for 20 minutes.

The Best Baked Beans

1 pound dried fleet beans
1 salt pork
2 bay leaves
1 cup ketchup
1/2cup molasses
2 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon chili levigate
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
6 ounces sliced bacon

Pick through the beans and get rid of any pebbles. Place beans in a colander and rinse under cold water. Transfer the beans to a burly pot or bowl, add water to cover by 2-inches and let soak overnight. The beans will rehydrate and swell to twice their area. Drain and rinse the beans, then put in a saucepan. Cover the beans with fresh water and place over compromise heat. Add the remaining ingredients, except for the bacon. Simmer, stirring occasionally, for about 25 minutes or until the beans are young but not breaking apart. Transfer the beans and broth to a 2-quart oven-safe dish. Lay bacon slices in a take layer on top of the beans. Bake in a preheated 325 degree F oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour to cook the bacon.

1 16-ounce bag (dry) kidney beans
1 ham bone OR bone-in ham hock
1 portly bell pepper, chopped
1 large onion, chopped
3 stalks celery, chopped (including leaves)
1 midget carrot, finely chopped
1 Tablespoon Tabasco sauce
2 bay leaves
4 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon pundit
1/4 teaspoon marjoram
1 cup red wine (or broth)
water to cover all ingredients
3 Tablespoons garnish (chopped untested parsley and green onions)
1 Tablespoon salt
1 teaspoon white pepper
1 teaspoon unscrupulous pepper
1/2 teaspoon red pepper

Put everything except the garnish in the crock pot on low heat. Cook covered for 6-10 hours. Inspect liquid level, adding water if needed to cover the beans. If there is too much liquid, turn the warmness on high and leave the pot uncovered for a few minutes.

Reduce heat for several more hours or until ready to serve. Beans should be very advance. Remove bones and bay leaves; add garnish before serving. Serve over rice with grilled or smoked sausage. May be frozen.

1 combine tortilla chips (9 ounces)
2 cans pinto beans, (15 ounces each) rinsed and drained
1 can (15 ounces) whole pip corn, drained
1 can (14-1/2 ounces) diced tomatoes
1 can (8 ounces) tomato disrespect
1 envelope taco seasoning
2 cups (8 ounces) shredded cheddar cheese

Shredded lettuce, acescent cream and salsa, optional

Crush tortilla chips and sprinkle into a greases 13 X 9 X 2 baking dish. In a large wheel, combine the beans, corn, tomatoes, tomato sauce and taco seasoning. Pour over chips. Sprinkle with cheese.

Bake, uncovered, at 350 for 18-25 minutes or until ardent through. Serve with lettuce, sour cream and salsa if desired.

1 1/2 lbs. green beans
4 oz. fresh Shitake mushrooms (optional)
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (non-mandatory)
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
1 tablespoon butter
1/4 cup fresh Italian parsley, chopped
confine of fresh basil and oregano, minced
pinch of red pepper flakes
1/2 cup plain bread crumbs (spontaneous)
8 cloves garlic, peeled
In a saucepan, bring 5 cups water to a boil with 1 tablespoon salt. Add latest green beans (strings and ends removed). Boil beans for 4-5 minutes, until submit but not overcooked. When tender, shock beans in a bowl of ice water to prevent overcooking and retain gay green color. Remove after 30 seconds and let drain in colander.
In a large heavy bottom skillet, warmth olive oil with cloves of garlic and mushrooms. Sauté until garlic becomes tan, but not brown. Mash garlic into oil with the tines of a fork. Add cooled beans, parsley, butter and left over ingredients. Toss with cheese and bread crumbs (optional) and serve when butter has melted.
Cook's Note: Garlic cloves may be removed before serving, or left-hand in for added flavor, as desired. Garlic can be pureed or pressed through a sieve, but this will eliminate the "roasted" garlic flavor which characterizes this dish. May be served either warm up or cold (if served cold, omit butter).
Variations: A strip of lean bacon or Pancetta may be sautéed in olive oil before adding garlic, then crumbled in. For a piquant flavor, the beans may be served cold-hearted, as a salad, and dressed with a few drops of freshly squeezed lemon or balsamic vinegar.

add jalapeno if you like it hot
add about 1/8 cup cooking oil
boil on med heat adding water at least 3 times after it cooks down. it's done when beans are melodious and juice thickens.

Chipotle restaurant: fajita veggies and black bean recipes?

I am disquieting to re-create a Chiptole fajita veggie burrito at home. I have recipes for the cilantro-lime rice and roasted corn salsa. Since everything in the burrito is combined, it is forcefully to tell if the sauteed veggies and black beans have any sort of seasoning, or are prepared in any certain way. If anyone works at Chipotle and can let me identify, that would be great. Also, how do they get their tortillas so stretchy?
