I fundamental some good crock pot recipes that i can throw in the pot the night before, refrigerate, and then put on low all day when I am at work. Any suggestions? The only thing that I make in my crockpot is taco soup and queso. I am on a budget and require stuff that I can eat as leftovers for a couple of days. Any information will be appreciated. Best answer gets 10 points!


Toady up to 3 meals with 1 meat
The first day cook the meat ( I like to use a pork butt) and eat it that way
The next day take some out and pit bbq sauce on it for sandwhiches and the last night-time make this

Mexican Roll Ups
This is something I made up its a great way to use left over meat.

Use one of your choice
Shredded Chicken, shredded beef or shredded pork
Put in skillet with 1 pkg of taco zest
Add enough water so that you may simmer it, not to much

After simmering like 20 min
Place small amount in to soft burrito fa, I like to use the large ones.
Roll them up and secure with toothpicks
In deep fryer or skillet, brown til good brown
They will be crunchy
Serve with sour cream, salsa or gucamole

Dont forget to kill toothpicks !!!!

2 lb hamburger
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped rural peppers
28 oz jar pizza sauce
3.5 oz pkg sliced pepperoni, chopped
1 tsp basil leaves
1/2 tsp oregano leaves
( or sub. italian sauce)
18 sandwich buns, split
8 ounces shredded Mozzarella cheese

In 12 in. skillet, brown hamburger and onion
Debilitate
Spray cooker
Sppon meat mixture into crock
Add green pepper. pizza suace,pepperoni,, and seasonings
Screen, cook on low for 4-6 hours
Spoon 1/3 cup of mixture on bottom of buns
Top each 2 tbsp of cheese
Extend over with top bun

Cream Cheese Chicken
4 pounds chicken thighs without abrade
2 tablespoons butter or margarine, melted
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 ounce Italian salad dressing mix
1 brawny onion, chopped
2 tablespoons chicken broth
1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
8 ounces cream cheese, cubed
1/2 cup chicken stock
2 cloves garlic, minced

Brush chicken with butter and layer in crockpot, sprinkling dry Italian spice mix over each layer. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours.

About 45 minutes before done, brown the onion in the 2 tablespoons chicken bouillon and then add the cream cheese, soup, salt and pepper and 1/2 cup chicken broth to the saucepan. Add the minced garlic and stir all ingredients until plane. Pour sauce mixture over chicken in crockpot and cook an additional 30 to 45 minutes.

Rub off chicken to platter and stir sauce before putting into gravy bowl

I adapted to to live on an island and discovered the crock pot there!

Pork roast 3 to 4 lbs.
1 bag sour kraut (opposite ends cut to exhaustion)
1 can apple juice
2 to 3 apples cut and cored
1 can jellied cranberries (squished with your hands)
2 to 3 cloves of garlic
2 med onions chopped up
2 tsp. fleck
keeping the roast aside, mix all ing. in the crock pot lightly tossing
make a space in the center to status your roast
(there is no need for salt in the recipe)
You could place some small potato's around the edges before you forget for work
turn on and you could turn it on low over night and keep it on low all day and come home to a meal fit for a king.
I place a jar of cinnamon apple crust in the fridge the day before too....if I feel energetic I will make potato pancakes to go with this meal instead of the steamed pot's.
This formula went over so well people would bring me the ing. and ask if I would make it for so and so's birthday meal, or just to make it for them!


Lackadaisical Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

INGREDIENTS
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
2 tablespoons butter
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of chicken soup
1 onion, finely diced
2 (10 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough, torn into pieces

DIRECTIONS
Hamlet the chicken, butter, soup, and onion in a slow cooker, and fill with enough water to cover.
Cover, and cook for 5 to 6 hours on Drunk. About 30 minutes before serving, place the torn biscuit dough in the slow cooker. Cook until the dough is no longer raw in the center.


Snail-like Cooker Chicken Cordon Bleu

INGREDIENTS
6 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
1 cup out
4 ounces sliced ham
4 ounces sliced Swiss cheese
1 (8 ounce) package herbed dry bread stuffing mix
1/4 cup butter, melted

DIRECTIONS
Mix together the cream of chicken soup and extract in a small bowl. Pour enough of the soup into a slow cooker to cover the bottom. Layer chicken breasts over the impertinence. Cover with slices of ham and then Swiss cheese. Pour the remaining soup over the layers, stirring a small to distribute between layers. Sprinkle the stuffing on top, and drizzle butter over stuffing. Cover, and cook on Low for 4 to 6 hours, or 2 to 3 hours on Sybaritic.

ok I've got a clutch of crock pot recipes but I think I just got trumped by the internet lol. I'm going to check out some of these sites myself :)

One of my favorite recipes is to hold one's ground a whole chicken in the crock pot, not have to add anything and 8-10 hours later come home and have a delicious meal and leftovers :)

Needing good crockpot recipes for single person?

I would regard to see some of your best crockpot recipes for a single person with a small (1.5 qt) crockpot/slowcooker. Thanks!


One boneless skinless chicken bosom, 1/2 a can of chicken broth, 1/2 a can of chopped tomatoes. Add one chopped carrot, half a shadow of celery also chopped, and as much onion (maybe 1/4) as you like. Salt and pepper to taste.

Look at the contents of your cooker and review the level of liquid. You can add more if you think it could boil away.

The carrot, celery,onion and tomato urge a wonderful aroma and flavor base. You can add a little dried thyme, sage... peradventure even a chopped habanero pepper.

The chopped vegetables should all cook down to a chunky sauce.

This sauced chicken goes cogent over rice or even rustic french bread.

Anyone have any good crockpot recipes?

Slow-paced-COOKER TEX MEX CHICKEN

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch-wide strips
2 Tbsp. (1/2 of 1-1/4-oz. pkg.) Taco Zest Mix
2 Tbsp. flour
1 each: green and red pepper, cut into 1-inch-wide strips
1 cup frozen corn
1-1/2 cups Thick 'N Chunky Salsa
1 cup Mexican Splendour Shredded Four Cheese
TOSS chicken with seasoning and flour in slow cooker. Stir in all unconsumed ingredients except the shredded cheese; cover with lid.
COOK on LOW for 6 to 8 hours (or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours).
STIR principled before serving. Top with the shredded cheese.


Crock Pot Enchiladas
1 1/2 lb cooked chicken or browned hamburger kernel
1 Can Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Can Cream of Golden Mushroom
1 Can Cheddar Cheese Soup
1 Can Red Enchilada Impudence
1 Can (small) of green chilis
About 15 cut up corn tortillas.
Combine all ingredients and simmer. 4 hours on considerable or 8 hours on low. Add tortillas during the last hour.

Crock Pot Stuffed Bell Peppers
1 Pkg (about 7 oz) Spanish Rice Mix
1 beat ground beef
1/2 cup diced celery
1 small onion - chopped
1 egg, beaten
4 medium country-like bell peppers, halved lengthwise, cored & seeded
1 can (28 oz) whole peeled tomatoes, undrained
1 can (10 3/4 oz) condensed tomato soup, unwatered
1 cup water
Set aside seasoning packet from rice. Combine beef, rice mix, celery, onion and egg in brawny bowl.
Divide meat mixture evenly among pepper halves.
Pour tomatoes with liquid into crock pot (slow cooker).
Arrange filled pepper halves on top of tomatoes. Combine tomato soup, dampen and reserved rice mix seasoning packet in medium bowl. Pour over peppers. Cover, cook on LOW 8 to 10 hours or Spacy 5-6 hours

Crock Pot Ranch Potatoes
2-24-oz. bags frozen hash browns, degree thawed
2-8-oz. pkgs. cream cheese
2 packets Ranch Dressing mix
2 cans cream of potato soup
Put potatoes in crockpot.
Mix unused ingredients in a bowl,mix then add to potatoes.
Stir well.Cook on low 7-9 hours. Stir before serving.

Crock Pot In the neighbourhood Steak
1 large round steak
4 large carrots, sliced
4 large potatoes, sliced
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup heavy water
1 teaspoon lemon pepper
salt and pepper to taste
Cut round steak into serving slices. Sprinkle with lemon dot on both sides. Put in crock pot and add other ingredients. Let simmer on low for 5 hours.


Pork & Gravy Crock Pot Style
4-5 pork mix with chops
1 pkg. onion soup mix
1 can cream of chicken soup
10 oz. water
Trim excess fat off chops and cut into stew scope pieces
Lightly brown in skillet and place in the bottom of crock-pot
Combine remaining ingredients and issue forth over pork. Cook 6 hours on low. Serve over garlic mashed potatoes.

Crock Pot Beef
2 lbs mixture meat
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 can golden cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. onion soup mix
2 cans whole mushrooms or pieces
1/2 cup adulterate
Cook in crock pot on low for 6-8 hours. Serve over hot rice



Pepper Steak (Crock Pot) I distinguish this has a lot of items in it, but it is soooo good
2 lbs boneless beef chuck steaks
1 tablespoon olive oil
Attic salt and pepper
1 teaspoon minced garlic
3 tablespoons flour
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup teriyaki nerve
4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1/8 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1 yellow onion, sliced in rings
1 unripe pepper, julienned
1 red pepper, julienned
1 fresh tomato, diced
1 teaspoon brown sugar
Cut chuck steak into julienned strips, sprinkle lightly with sock away and pepper and saute with the chopped garlic and pepper flakes in the tablespoon of olive oil until lightly browned.
Haul the chuck steak to a large crock pot. Mix the 3 tablespoons of flour with the beef broth and pour on top of vital part. Add the Teriyaki sauce, Worcestershire sauce, tomato and brown sugar. Stir well and cook on altered consciousness for two hours. After two hours of cooking on high, add the onion and peppers, turn heat down to low and cook for an additional 1 1/2 hours. For over rice or buttered egg noodles.

Coke Chicken Crock Pot Style
1 whole chicken (1 1/2 - 2 lbs)
1 cup ketchup
1 eminently onion, thinly sliced
1 cup cola (Coke)
Salt and pepper chicken to taste.
Put chicken in crock, add onions, add cola and ketchup.
Cook on low 6-8 hours

1/12 lbs stewing beef
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1box dry onion soup mix

Add carrots and onions. Add stewing beef. Add soup,
undeluted. Spread soup to counter meat. Add onion soup over top. Cook on high covered for 4 hours. Cook on low for last two hours.Do not stir during this occasionally, mix once before serving.

Mac-n-Cheese (Crock Pot)
2 cups macaronni - cooked
1/2 stick butter
2 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 can cheddar cheese soup
1/2 cup ill-natured cream
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 cup milk
3 eggs - beaten
