Does anyone recollect of a good site to teach me how to make a homemade diaper cake????

A diaper cake, made up of several one at a time rolled diapers arranged in the shape of a cake, is an ideal baby shower gift. Aside from being ingenious and delightful, it is also a useful gift since everything used to make a diaper cake is of practical use to the new parents. Instead of gifting divide gifts of little use, friends or relatives can pool in to gift a diaper cake hiding several useful goodies in it. Nearly the same to a conventional cake, a diaper cake can be single layered or tiered, though usually it consists of at least two-tiers. Ensure that you have a couple of hours of relieved of time on hand as it will take you about 2-3 hours to assemble the diaper cake. All it needs is several baby items and a bit of imagination. Here's how you can erect a three-tiered diaper cake.

1Step OneRoll each diaper individually and tie it with a piece of close ribbon. For neatness and uniformity, pre-cut the narrow ribbon in 50 pieces of 1 foot each. Retain the unconsumed ribbon for final assembly.
2Step TwoAlternatively, use rubber bands in place of narrow ribbon to impede the rolled diaper in place.
3Step ThreeCreate three tiers of the cake by tying 6, 15 and 28 rolled diapers.
4Quit FourReplace the central diaper from the top tier with a baby bottle, which can be filled with candies. Some more diapers from the remaining tiers can be replaced with other baby coordinated articles such as safety pins, pacifiers, booties and bibs. Take care not to replace too many diapers.
5Up FiveSelect small baby necessities that are easier to hide among rolled diapers.
6Step SixStrengthen a range more by tying the 1 inch ribbon all around it. Wide ribbon also makes the arrangement pretty.
7Step SevenUse re-positionable stick to arrange first tier on the cake board.
8Step EightTape the second and third tiers, too.
9Step NineStabilize the grouping by inserting wooden dowels or straws through the tiers. Be careful about preventing any damage to the diapers.
10Look TenEmbellish with additional baby necessities such as soft toys and bath items. Ribbons, flowers, coupons, creams and cards are some examples of decorative items that can be employed for this purpose.

How much would you pay for a diaper cake?

I poverty to start selling diaper cakes (layers of rolled diapers shaped as a cake with toys and baby items placed as garnishment). For name brand items and Huggies or Pampers diapers (50) how much would you pay?
The diapers alone cost about $15.

I've seen them go anywhere from 20-25 dollars all the way up to over 200 dollars on eBay. It very depends on what is included in the cake and how decorative you get with it. One thing that you could do is get on eBay and find something similar to what you have in mind to make and then watch a few of them to see what they over persuaded for.

How do I made a square diaper cake?

I dearth to make a square diaper cake and I need instructions or an instructional video. Can anyone share some wisdom or videos?

I have been making equilateral diaper cakes lately. I think they are fun because you can use a 12x12 scrapbook paper on the bottom to add to the look. I roll my diapers but try to gather several within one rubber troop. I figure a new mom has better things to do than unwrap every single diaper. Then I arrange the rolled diapers in rows rather than in a hoop. My last cake has 5 rows of 4 diapers on the bottom, three rows of three diapers on the second layer and 2 rows of 2 diapers on the top. Hmmm...I judge that would make the bottom layer a rectangle instead of a square, but....
