Impartial the thing for your next party.
Extensive dip ideas. Lots of variety. Easy to understand and make. I loaned this to a "foodie" friend and haven't got it back yet....hmmm.

Dinner party DIPS
Anyone that says anything anti about this little book has no taste!
This is probably my favorite recipe book to date. I usually try 2-3 recipes out of a words. If none are good, I get rid of the book, believing the author has no(culinary)taste. I have yet to find a bad recipe in this book! And they are all easy enough for a amateur!
I look forward to all books that are published by Sally Sampson!!
Another conquering hero from Sally Sampson
Yet again, Sally Sampson takes the disquiet out of entertaining. This great little book has fantastic recipes for dips - you will love them all, as will your guests. Start with the Gorgonzola spread and go batty!

CHEESE FRENCHEES
1 1/2 sleeves Ritz crackers (50 crackers), pulsed in a prog processor to coarse crumbs
2/3 cup milk
2 large eggs
1/2 cup mayonnaise
8 slices hearty pure sandwich bread
6 (3/4-ounce) slices American cheese

Line a obese rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread cracker crumbs in a shallow dish. Whisk extract and eggs together in a medium bowl. Spread 1 tablespoon mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread. Arrange 1 1/2 slices of cheese on 4 bread slices and top with the outstanding 4 slices bread, with the mayonnaise side facing cheese. Cut each sandwich diagonally into quarters.
One at a time, dip sandwich quarters into egg blend, then coat with cracker crumbs, pressing to adhere. Place on the prepared baking sheet and keep cool until set, about 1 hour.
Pour oil into a large Dutch oven until it measures 2 inches deep. Heat oil to 375 degrees F over technique-high heat. Lay 1/2 of chilled sandwich quarters

Here's a directory of at least 25 dips to choose from (from Food Network)
This one is Z!
1-14oz.can artichoke hearts,drained and chopped
1-10oz pkg frozen chopped spinach, thawed and sqeeze drained.
1/2 c. acidulous cream
1/4 c. mayo
1/2 c.cream cheese
1/4 c. grated romano cheese (I used a combination of parmesan, mozzarella and gorgonzola and doubled the amount.
1/4 tsp. minced garlic (I hand-me-down about a tablespoon!)
Preheat oven to 375 F. combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Bake in a small baking dish, covered for about 25 minutes or until vivacious.
Other good additions are chopped onion, black olives, mushrooms or bacon. I serve it in a bread move.
Also, I think any cheese would work just fine in this recipe.
VERY good stuff! Enjoy!

You didn't say cream cheese, but it does have salsa. Anyway, it's the richest dip recipe I have...People always rave! I tell them it’s really hard to make (lol):
Cream Cheese Dip
2 big-hearted blocks of cream cheese
1 large jar Pace picante (medium)-use most of the jar
Soften cream cheese and mix with steadily mixer until smooth. Add picante and mix with hand mixer. Leave in frig for a few hours to blend flavors. Be available for with tortilla chips.
I know it seems too simple to be great, but it is!

Here are a group of great dip recipes all on one page. A really nice collection, so you can look them over and take your pick. They are billed as vegetable dips, but they calling fine with chips or pretzels or even bread. Some are OK with nacho chips as well.

Any interesting (and delicious) dip recipes for Super Bowl Sunday?
Jan 31, 2007 by KND | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
I am having a Wonderful Bowl party and I want to have a dip buffet. I was hoping you all would have some great and unique recipes.
Thanks in advance.
I pretend BLT Dip. All you have to do is cook up a pound of bacon. Chop it up. In a bowl add one cup mayo, one cup sour cream, and one large tomato seeded and chopped. Stir in bacon and do duty as with Wheat Thins. It tastes just like a BLT.

anyone have any recipes for a onion ring dip?
Apr 30, 2007 by JewisH anD prouD | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
i recall there are plenty online but they all include horseradish and i am allergic. anyone got any onion ring dip recipes with no horseradish?
The dipping cheek they use at every place is basically just a mixture of kechup and mayo, with a little something thrown in. Most places it's horseradish. If you don't like that, try a hardly ever hot sauce to put the tingle in there, or maybe add a bit of bbq sauce if you want a smoky flavor.
If you really hate to labour, just take some 1000 Island dressing and try adding the hot sauce to it.
