How do people in the middle east cook ground beef? Recipes anyone?

I know Middle east folk make kebabs from ground lamb. But ground beef... I am razor-sharp to know. Looking for ethnic recipes with ground beef. Thanks to all who provided me with Mo bo dofu, the chinese way to make ground beef. It was great!


I am half Iranian and we deliver the goods a succeed a popular dish called Chello-kabab.
You mix the ground beef with finely diced onion, lime extract, salt and pepper. Cook on the grill over charcoal along with small whole tomatoes and serve with basmati rice. I never tailor. If you like onion...put in all you want. The juice of one lime should be enough. I sometimes cook this in the oven on broil, but it is best on the grill. We sprinkle ground sumac over the vital part and rice. This is a very sour, dark red powder that you might be able to get at an asian market or order online.

Can you please share your favorite ground beef recipes?

I barely bought 3 pounds of ground beef because the price was really good. I'd like to use the meat for 3 different meals to eat my family of 4. I would prefer to make meals that are a bit different than the usual ground beef meals. I am sort of fatigued of the usual lasagna, baked ziti with meat, taco's, meatloaf, chili etc.Can you please ration your favorite ground beef recipes, especially if they are a bit off the beaten path. Spicy is good too.Thanks!


Lead's Pie ! YUM !

1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed vegetable soup
1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
3 cups mashed cooked potatoes
1 cup shredded Colby longhorn cheese

Serves 6.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and lightly grease a 2 quart baking dish.
In a beneficent skillet over medium-high heat, stir and cook ground beef, onion and celery until juices run discernibly. Drain. Pour mixture into baking dish with vegetable soup and thyme; stir well. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
Bake 20 minutes. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and bake 5 minutes more, or until cheese has melted.

Meatloaf - I cognizant of you said no meatloaf, but this is really delicious;

1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 cup crushed buttery round crackers
3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (1 ounce) carton dry onion soup mix
2 eggs, beaten
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons steak sauce

Serves 6.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
Stir the ground beef, crushed crackers, Cheddar cheese, and onion soup mix in a chunky bowl until well combined. Whisk the eggs, ketchup, and steak sauce in a separate bowl until bald. Mix the eggs into the meat until evenly combined, if the mixture seems too dry, add a little water. Press into a 9x5 inch chunk pan.
Bake in preheated oven until the meatloaf reaches 160 degrees F (71 degrees C) and is no longer pink in the center, 45 to 60 minutes.

Enchiladas

1 1/2 pounds trust in ground beef
1 bunch green onions, finely chopped
1 diced fresh jalapeno pepper, or to soup
1/4 cup water
1 (1.25 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 cup plain yogurt
1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
6 (6 inch) corn tortillas

Serves 6.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a considerable skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef, green onion, and jalapeno pepper until the beef is evenly brown. Stir in soak and taco seasoning. Simmer until water has evaporated.
In a medium bowl, mix together yogurt, condensed soup, and cheese.
Dole out the meat mixture evenly between tortillas. Place a couple of tablespoons of cheese mixture over chow, and roll up. Place in a 7x11 inch baking dish. Repeat for each tortilla. Spoon remaining cheese amalgamation over the top of the tortillas.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes.

Spaghetti Pie

1 pound spaghetti
1 work over lean ground beef
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
garlic powder to taste
1/2 cup chopped rural bell pepper
1 (26 ounce) jar pasta sauce
3/4 cup sour cream
1/2 cup chopped green onions
1/2 (8 ounce) parcel cream cheese
1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

Serves 7.

Bring a large pot of lightly salted unstintingly to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until al dente; drain.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
In a skillet over medium fervidness, brown the ground beef. Drain and crumble. Put crumbled beef in skillet. Stir in salt, pepper, garlic bray, bell pepper and pasta sauce. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
In a lesser bowl combine sour cream, green onions and cream cheese and set aside. Cover a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray and add the cooked spaghetti. Spread the cream cheese mix over it, add the meat mixture and sprinkle with Cheddar Cheese.
Cover and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake for 5 more minutes until the cheese is cheery.

Easy and quick ground beef recipes?

I necessity an easy and quick recipe for ground beef. Something basic that can be prepared (including prep work and cooking) in about 30 minutes' but. I have 1.5 pounds of ground beef, several types of shredded cheese, onions, potatoes, rice, all kinds of frozen vegetables. Anyone have any suggestions? I'm knocked out of Bisquick impossible cheeseburger pie. LOL Thanks!
An additional detail: I don't want to have to stop at the store on the way living quarters...I want to be able to cook with what I have to work with. :)


Sodden JOE SQUARES

1 1/2 lbs ground beef

1 cup tomato sauce seasonings for sloppy joes
2t chopped onions

1/2 tsp. salt

2 cans concavo-concave dinner rolls
2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)


Brown ground beef and tomato cheek in skillet. Add your seasonings, onion and salt.
Separate each can of crescent rolls into two large rectangles. Huddle two into a large 9 by 13 pan.

Spoon on meat mixture and sprinkle the cheese on top.

Place two remaining rectangles of dough on top of eats and cheese.

Pinch edges and brush top with milk.

Bake at 425 for 15 to 20 minutes.
