To test, fry a small "hamburger" patty of the meatloaf until cooked; the patty should hold together but still have a tone down consistency. Taste the patty for seasoning.

Lightly oil a cookie sheet. Transfer the meat blend to the center of the cookie sheet and form into a log about 9 inches long and about 4 inches wide. Coat the top of the meatloaf with another 1/2 cup of the tomato taste. Lay the bacon across the top lengthwise.

Bake the meatloaf for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until the bacon is crisp and the meatloaf is firm. Rotate the essentials loaf while it's baking every now and then to insure that the bacon browns evenly. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it deliberate a bit before slicing. Serve with the remaining tomato relish on the side. Unbelievably moist!

Buy a box of Lipton Onion Soup Mix
There is a recipie on the back that is awsome.

once I added a teensy-weensy Italian seasoning & fresh garlic to my normal recipe. Then used organic rolled oats as an alternative of bread crumbs...I sometimes add NO grain products.

THEN...I placed fresh broccoli pieces (seasoned) between two layers of the edibles. It was SOOOOO YUMMMMY!!!!

Even the kids ate it!!!

This is how I style my meatloaf, you wouldnt believe how simple it is and what few ingredients you will need!!

2 pounds hamburger meat
1 box stove top stuffing (any species but cornbread)
ketchup

Mix in large bowl the hamburger and stove top. Form into loaf. bake at 350* for about an hour (til its almost done)
Top with ketchup and bake another 15 minutes.

i guesstimate if you like the chopped veggies you could add that to the mix, my hubby doesnt so i dont make it like that; for him!)

This vegetate doesn't slice like your average meat loaf, but that's why I like it!

Mama's Italian Meatloaf

1lb. ground pork
mix them together with a chopped onion and a few cloves of minced garlic, about a cup of bread crumbs, a sprinkle of oregano and basil and add a half a jar of you ideal spaghetti sauce. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes or so then pour the rest of the spaghetti lip over the meatloaf and sprinkle the top with mozzarella cheese and bake until it is cooked though ( you can tell because it has a firm feel and is no longer pink in the center.)

This is enthusiastic with pasta or garlic mashed potatos!

Looking for an old fashioned meatloaf recipe? I am focused on Family Recipes only!?

I am bothersome to re-create my grandmothers meatloaf. I know it had onions, corn flakes (crushed), egg, ground beef, I muse on ketchup on top, chile sauce?, green pepper, milk?, worcestershire sauce? I really can't recall. I am searching for family recipes that YOU have been using for years. I have researched many recipes but have never found the exact one.
Thank you so much!

Yep you got it same one my granny made!! 1 lb. grouts beef, 1/2 pound ground pork, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of crushed cornflakes, 1/4 cup of ketchup, and a break of worcestershire sauce. Mix egg with a splash of milk and beat. Add egg, ketchup, worcestershire sauce, cornflakes to basics and mix thoroughly. Put in loaf pan and bake at 350 degrees for about 45 min. or until done. My granny used to put bacon strips ontop to keep edibles moist and then add ketchup to the top about 10 min. before it is done to add a bit of extra flavor. Bon appetite!
