salsa is indeed very basic.tomatoes, onions, cilantro, jalapeno, salt, pepper and lime. you can add just about anything you after to that. mango, rasberry, grn pepper. the list goes on. experiment with it. it's fairly inexpensive to give rise to so you can make many different versions for very little money. enjoy.

You call for some jalapeno peppers, some celantro, a small onion, some roma tomatoes, Cut up and put in blender and turn it on for about 45 seconds. if it gets a small dry just add some water, just don't add too much because then it will be watery. But to make it hotter just cut up another kind of stipple and blend it together and taste it and if you need to put salt use a shaker.

Home canners, What are your favorite canned salsa recipes?

Sanguinely I will have lots of tomatos and peppers this next fall. I want some new salsa recipes that I can put up here at home for winter use. What are your favorites?

I use Mrs. Wage's or Ball salsa mix and add exceptionally onions, garlic, peppers, and jalapenos. Super simple and super tasty!

Anybody know any good salsa recipes?

Vegetarian....possibly with black beans and corn? We have a lot of tomatos because we grow them in our garden and I wanted to make some salsa with it, anybody have an recipes?

My boyfriend makes this very plain salsa every week and everybody loves it. It doesn't have black beans and corn in it, but you could throw those in there if you want. I dream up what makes it so good is how fresh it is.

• 6 to 8 small roma or plum tomatoes. I suppose you can use any type of tomato, but that's what he uses.
• 1 burly white onion.
• 1 medium jalapeno pepper.
• Fresh cilantro (you can use as much or as little as you like.
• The vitality of 1 small lime.

With the tomatoes, you want to get all the seeds and pulp out of them before you chop them. Chop the tomatoes and onion in tight-fisted cube-like pieces (this salsa is similar in consistency to pico de gallo rather than the pureed salsa you get out of a jar.). The cilantro and jalapeno should be chopped into minute pieces. Mix all chopped ingredients together in a large bowl, squeeze the lime into the bowl, then mix again.

We just be accurate it with regular tortilla chips, but it goes on almost anything. He gets a lot of compliments on it too.
