Tuna, pasta and tomato. Adept, easy, cheap, warming and filling.

Chop & fry an onion and a clove (or two) of garlic in the olive oil from a tin of anchovies in a saucepan. You can add some chopped mushrooms if you like. Add a tin of chopped tomatoes, and some various dried herbs. Chop up the anchovies and add them. Drain the brine or springwater from a big tin of tuna in brine or springwater and add the tuna. Mix, but try not to fragment up the chunks of tuna too much. Simmer.

Boil some pasta in a big saucepan- I use the shell shapes as this is in keeping with the seafood point. Add a splash of olive oil to stop it sticking. When the pasta is cooked, drain and return to the big pan. Add the sauce. Carefully mix again.

For, topped with some grated chese, with some garlic bread.

This isn't very think but my family likes to add it to mac and cheese. If I'm making it for myself, I also add peas and crushed potato chips or french fried onions to the top as well.

My old college roommate liked to fly the coop tuna burgers by adding a beaten egg and bread crumbs to tuna and frying them like beef burgers. I never as a matter of fact got into that though.

Hi desire these help you enjoy, the last link is huge.

Good luck

I down tuna-mayo with pasta. I also add, Sweetcorn, peppers (red or green) onion chopped cucumber, mushrooms, speckle, raw carrot.
Experiment thats what I do just chuck stuff in till it looks right! The usefulness is it will taste good hot or cold and it will also double up as a sandwich filling for a snack or lunch the next day and all very good for you!!
