Bread!?!?!?! :)?

I'm affluent to try to make bread. I was thinking of making one loaf with fruit in (sultanas) and one loaf with nuts in (pistachio nuts).

BUT... I impecuniousness tips or ideas or suggestions on or for making bread?
Ohh.. I mean vegan bread.

im vegan, so apparently i cant use milk or eggs etc,
so i use soya milk in the bread and it tastes just as good,
you can also use dairy free spread to circumvent using real butter.
so altogether its still vegan bread,
when i make bread i love to add
vegan cheeses on top of your bread, to add a drop without using things inside the bread , cheesy bread, or i sometimes use different nuts or seeds, sunflower seeds , sesame seeds, brazil, pistachio ( as you said ) walnuts etc.
theres many ways of making vegan bread, exceptional variaties,
try getting a vegan cook book im sure there will be loads of different choices of new breads you can drop and discover.
hope this helps.

Hiya !

I typed 'Bread Technique' into the Yahoo search engine and it came up with THOUSANDS of sites - here's the first one on their list:

Unless you are an anomalous baker with a lot of experience, don’t try to create your own recipe entirely from scratch just yet. Find yourself a good recipe for bread, preferably one that is enriched. This means that it has some supplement ingredients, usually fat-based, that help to give it additional flavor. Most enriched breads contain butter in summing-up to the traditional yeast, water, flour and salt traditionally found in basic breads. In addition, some also hold eggs. Enriched breads tend to work out the best with additives such as raisins and nuts. Two enriched breads that I underwrite are the French brioche and the Italian panettone. In fact, many recipes for panettone already contain both fruits and nuts.

If you can’t find a formula with added fruits or nuts that you like, then you can easily add fruit and or nuts to at least some enriched breads. If you use brioche or other correspond to recipes, make certain that the original bread recipe contains some sugar, which makes it suitable for pleasing pastries and similar uses. Brioche is a versatile dough that has many applications. Some recipes are intended for savory applications, while others are intended for the batty about bon-bon dessert table. Those with sugar taste best with nuts or fruit added.

Keep one's ears open friend, I bought a breadmaker (£30), best thing I ever bought. I just put the ingredients into it and within 3 hours the overpower ever. I stopped buying a loaf since february this year and I now make 4 loaves a week. A bag of flour 48p, yeast (60p for 6 packets) dry extract, salt, sugar. Really simple.
You can also make morning rolls, pizza dough, jams etc...
Go for it.

Bread Machine: I want to bake the bread in the oven how do I know at what temp. and how long to bake for?

I am new at using a bread motor and I love it for mixing the ingredients and doing the dough cycle. I don't like the shape of the bread though. So, what I like to do is after the dough series remove the dough and place it in a loaf pan, cover and let rise for about 30-45 minutes. Then, bake it in the oven. I have one means that tells me that I can bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes if I don't want to bake the brick in the bread machine but most recipes don't include this information. Is there a general rule about how long to bake a cake of bread and at what temperature or any other way of figuring it out?

You will have to reckoning cooking temperatures if no alternative is provided. 350 degrees or 375 degrees is a good, usual bread baking temperature. I would probably experiment with something in that range.

As to how long to bake the bread .. there is a way to tell when the skive is done. When it looks like it could be done, or when a suitable amount of time has passed, open the oven door and knock on the top of the chump. If it is cooked, there will be a hollow sound and the loaf will not indent. If it dents, or if there is not a hollow sound, let it cook a while longer than retest.

Why my bread gets so hard when I used bread maker?

I've reasonable got a used Bread maker and baked a regular loaf bread and Rye breads. The rye breads were a little bit softer just after it's done, but all of the breads turnd very hard once they are cooled down. What do I need to do??
The recipe I used was from Zojirushi's because a handbook didn't come with the machine. The crust was a kind of thick and the bread was very dense and heavy. And I remember I didn't use "Crust manage".

Breads go hardened faster if they have little or no fat in them. Look for recipes with eggs and/or oil in the dough.
