Are there any cooking schools in New York for teens?

I indigence to know if there are any cooking schools in New York for teens because I would like to enroll in one. It would also be nice if we would get paid.

Bobby Flay (Sustenance Network, several NY Restaurants) has an annual claas that he teaches to High school teens in NYC, I believe all acknowledged schools are open to it.

He teaches the class and the teen with the most talent and highest grades gets a full scholarship to the French Culinary Organization in NYC.

Even if you don't win your'e being taught by a top chef from NY, so it's win win.

He was offered the same thing as a kid and is now giving back to his community - presumptuous huh?

What are the tuition coats for cooking schools?

how much do any well known cooking schools rate? they dont say on their websites.

Here's the contemporary tuition for cooking schools:

1) Los Angeles Trade Tech - 2 year course: $975 total;
2) Culinary Originate in Pasadena, San Francisco [aka Le Cordon Bleu] - 2 year course: $58,000 total;
3) Red Larder in Hollywood and South Pasadena [affiliate of Culinary Institute] - 6 months hands-on training: $20,000.

And the existent starting salary for a chef in Los Angeles: $14 per hours or $30,000 per year.

Good chance!
