Pre-eminent jar opener ever!!
For a hunger time I had a Black & Decker electric jar opener. It took up counter space and took some time to get the drift the jar and twist it open. It started slipping so I looked for another "opener". Took a chance and ordered the EZ Off Jar opener and boy am I eager I did!! No more struggling with opening jars; just slide into the grove and turn. Works every once in a while; even little tiny jar tops. Nobody can see it mounted under the cabinet and my counter top is free of another appliance. It will be the best small change you ever spent!

This is the perferfect puppet for the elderly . As you know everything gets harder to open these days. As we age we loose our grip and are surely pressed to open jars and bottles . Arthritis - Looking for jar/bottle opener?

I have bad arthritis in my hands. Is there a fallout out there that anyone knows of that can automatically open both jars and plastic soda bottles? Would like it to be motorized.

There is a fancy that i've seen on tv that will do that for you but sorry I don't know where to get it for sure but , look up Black & Decker on the web and it might be one of their products. Untill then I have a lovely cool device that fits under my cabinet ,it's shaped like a big V with teeth and you just shove a jar in the V and force it back and turn it to pop it loose it works pretty good for me , well the kids anyway I don't need it YET. I would try your local munitions store they will probably have something for you or tell you where you can get it . Good luck

There is a hallmark that i've seen on tv that will do that for you but sorry I don't know where to get it for sure but , look up Black & Decker on the web and it might be one of their products. Untill then I have a attractive cool device that fits under my cabinet ,it's shaped like a big V with teeth and you just shove a jar in the V and set in motion it back and turn it to pop it loose it works pretty good for me , well the kids anyway I don't need it YET. I would try your local components store they will probably have something for you or tell you where you can get it . Good luck

Where can I buy an AMI gripper style bottle and jar opener?

I do not advised of what AMI stands for. I have one of these openers and that is all that is imprinted on the handle besides the patent #163785, and Buffalo,NY. I want to buy another but cannot find a supplier.
