The Rabbit does the job
Cork lineage is easy and quick. Reinsertion on those rare occasions when there is some wine left over is easy too.

Too slight for regular use
I loved this at first, but after a few months it became express that it is built too weakly to last. And, of course, I am writing this review because it broke in use. It quickly (after 4-6 weeks of ownership) became very obstinate to extract the cork after removing the cork from a bottle, and the plastic housing that goes over the neck of the bottle would flex and permission, then when pulling the handle up a piece of the cast metal failed and broke away, and the corkscrew found a new available in the trash. I had owned a classic Rabbit prior to that and switched to the Verticle Rabbit hoping it would take up less storage space, but it absolutely did not, and it has not held up well at all.

Works right, finish falters
The vertical rabbit works as stated, starve oneself and easy uncorking. Good for arthritic hands that have trouble with traditional corkscrews. But the red gloss dispatch has developed faded spots in the paint. It looks like my rabbit has contracted a disease. It has been stored in the imitation case so it's not kitchen splatters.

Surprisingly Sizeable!
After purchasing at least 10 bizarre openers, this one was the only on easy enough for my mom to use. She loved the gift!

Economize on loves this rabbit
My pacify was thrilled with this vertical rabbit. It is so easy to use and the cork ejects so easily that he wants to open more wine than can be consumed! Would hugely recommend this product.

Full Bottles to Light Pours: A Spot for Wine Lovers New York Times

Barrique takes its name from a order of barrel used in winemaking; bottles, barrels and wooden wine crates make up much of the décor. A beamed ceiling and lots of chum give the place a cozy, rustic ambience. Tables are bare wood; napkins look like French dish towels.
Barrique is owned by the Babylon Restaurant Corps, which also runs the Argyle Grill and Tavern , a lively 10-year-old spot across the street. Barrique is lawful as lively and noisy, but it has something its older sibling lacks: the cooking of Pierre Rougey.
Mr. Rougey, the principal chef, had been the chef and co-owner of Emerson’s, the cafe that occupied these premises before Barrique. His menu is designed for sampling; every pr is set with stacks of plates for sharing.
The cheese platter is an appropriate opener at this wine-centered place. Diners can pick two, three or four from a schedule of nine cheeses (mostly old favorites like Brie and fontina). Their choices arrive on a wooden board with slices of French bread and trifling bowls of toasted almonds, dried apricots and honey.

How to open a bottle of red wine?
Jan 13, 2009 by NimG | Posted in Beer, Wine & Spirits
A girl recently brought red wine for dinner and since it was not yet cold, we put it in the freezer. When it was time to open the bottle with a cork influence, nobody could do it! We ended up using two can openers, a pair of scissors, a skewer and a hammer to force down the cork in lieu of of forcing it out of the bottle. What should we have done?
Red wine should NEVER be refrigerated (or frozen).... It's obliged to be served room temperature! You would normally open it 10-45 min. ahead of time, to let it "exist". Use a wine bottle opener with "wings" and the corks will come right out
