i heard using a harmonious knife is bad.

You have to scratch the inside of the pumpkin out where you want the design..make it thin so it is easy to cut with any knife.

Also. What works cured, my kitchen knives or should i get a set of those pumpkin carving knives?

i have the pumpkin carving kit there alot improve more bendable and easy to work with after your done carving put vasoline on the edges it makes it last longer

they only last a week if your lucky vasoline will baby it last a couple days longer
