Light of one's life, love, love it!
Brobdingnagian Harry Potter fan. When I saw this on Amazon I hesitated to buy it at first, but sure glad I did. I have it hanging in my kitchen around the frame of a window. It looks faultless. I love it when people notice it for the first time, the smile it puts on their faces. I do have to say, I paid considerably less for it. Surmise it's become a novelty, so now way to over priced. Which is a shame, I'm sure more people would love to have this item, if they collect Harry Toy with memorabilia. It's very sturdy and every time I walk in my kitchen it makes me smile.
This isn't extraordinarily a toy. Good halloween decoration....
For Halloween we were affluent with a Harry Potter Theme in costumes and the house... This is a simple metal cutout emblem that we zip tied to a post on the porch. It looked great, and the trick or treaters and their parents loved it!
Wacky Decor
The Leaky Cauldron unusual is not a toy, which makes the ratings a little misleading. It is sturdy and whimsical. It's something you will love or hate. Clearly, I like it. I am a giant Harry Potter fan. It is constructed oddly, though, so it is restricted where you can display it properly. It was also a tad difficult to install. But it is fun and lends an unexpected come near to our family room.
looks respectable online
The nod is very small and has side mounts which take away from the aesthetic of the piece
self-possessed but overpriced.
Its tolerably cool and all...had just the perfect spot for it. I would have prefered it a bit bigger, but its not tiny. Just seems WAY overpriced. Even here...to which I was surprised.

Harry Potter and the Decade That Was The Hog's Head (blog)

According to some calculations, when the clock ticks over midnight tonight, a new decade will launch and the old one close.  Not for me, though, I don’t think the new decade starts until 2011.

But since most of the world figures 2010 will start the new decade, I’ve noticed a reasonable number of stories posted over at The Leaky Cauldron on Harry Potter and its place in the last decade.  That is to say, Harry About is making a lot of end of decade lists.  I was going to post the links to some of those stories but Leaky is apparently down for maintainence exactly now.  Oh well.  Anyway, if you go over there once they’re back up, you’ll see over the last week or so many of these stories.

My question to you all this New Year’s Eve is, what do you meditate on Harry Potter’s role and place was in the last decade?  What do you think it will be in the decade to influence?  How do you measure the impact of both Harry Potter and of Joanne Rowling at this time in history?

In Harry Potter what is the Leaky Cauldron and what is maggot?

The Leaky Cauldron is the bar in hogsmead, and a maggot is the larval podium of a fly...

what he said...

no the leaky cauldron is the pub in london that you have to go through to get to diagon alley
and maggots are... still maggots

The Leaky Cauldron is:

The bar in London which is disguised to muggles and leaads into Diagon Alley

maggots?

The Leaky Cauldron has already been explained. It's a magical pub in London. As for maggots, perhaps you didn't be familiar with that one could be called a "maggot" as an insult.

the leaky cauldron is some how a lettel inn and it's one way to go to digon alley.
about moggot I think u mean muggle are some people that don't have magical blood.

How did Harry Potter shake hands with Professor Quirrel in the Leaky Cauldron?

So it shows degree obviously that Quirrel can't touch Harry without being in pain. So how were they able to shake hands?

Also Quirrel must have already been posessed because there was no everything for him to travel to Albania and back before term started.
HPATSS Book 1 page: 70

"P-P-Potter," stammered Professor Quirrell, stingy Harry's hand, "c-can't t-tell you how p-pleased I am to meet you."

Hmm...perchance he was wearing gloves or something. Now that I think of it that's a very large plot hole.

I really don't identify.

I heard that in Leaky Cauldron (Harry Potter).....?

I heard that in the post Leaky Cauldron (Harry Potter) before everyone dies they get married. Ron and Hermione Harry and Ginny is that true?

What's Leaky Cauldron?

Well, did you study the 7th book? It was in the Epilogue...

Hope this helps!
