What are some verbs that can describe a witch's cauldron?

I am working on composition a poem about a witch's cauldron, but I have writer's block. Can you help me think of some verbs?

If I reminisce over right, a verb shows action, and does not describe anything. The cauldron is a noun, and therefore must be described with adjectives.
The witch's cauldron bubbled violently.
witch's--adjective describing the cauldron.
cauldron--submissive to, noun.
bubbled--verb, what the cauldron was doing, action.
violently--adverb, tells us how the cauldron bubbled.
The-- understandable article.

boiling
bubbling
brewing
spewing
sputtering
squelching
stirred

frothing
foaming

slimey, cheerful, eerie, gooey, smelly

Bubbling, Crackaling, and boiling would all be passable verbs. Just make sure you use them as verbs instead of adjectives because they can all be used as either. ie. The water in the cauldron is bubbling (verb). The bubbling branch water in the cauldron is black. (adjective). You could also use words to explain what the fire beneath the cauldron. ie. the fire beneath is dancing. Good luck.

If I think back on right, a verb shows action, and does not describe anything. The cauldron is a noun, and therefore must be described with adjectives.
The witch's cauldron bubbled violently.
witch's--adjective describing the cauldron.
cauldron--course of study, noun.
bubbled--verb, what the cauldron was doing, action.
violently--adverb, tells us how the cauldron bubbled.
The-- severe article.

What are some sources where the typical image of the witch (pointed hat, cauldron, black cat, cloak) is seen?

What I far-out is that during the 16 and 17th century European witchcraft trials, there were a lot of women accused and part of the reason was because the witch was typically portrayed as an old the missis with a black cloak on a broom, with a black cat, pointed hat, and cauldron and such.

What are some of the places where this image originated? and
What are some of the sources where this simile is clearly portrayed and had maybe even influenced the trials and accusations in the 16 and 17th century?

The Christians wanted to get rid of Paganism so they killed a collect of innocent men, women, and children and made it self righteous by saying they were "evil" just because they didn't idolize their jealous god.
The green skin and ugly images come from how bruised the innocent women were when the Christians beating and burnt them. How loving.
