What worldly can be used as a washable and reusable kitty litter?
I want to scoop the #2 and rinse the urine with a gallon of O which would flow though holes similar to how things are rinsed with a colander.
It would have to be something that would not absorb water or at least dry out quickly. And the pieces would have to be no larger than pea size and not to niggardly that they would pass though a tiny hole.
That sounds like an abominable lot of work and very messy.
Why don't you just use wood stove pellets? They totally absorb the moisture and odor from urine and the pellets analyse c collapse down into sawdust. If you dump the pan when the pellets are about 2/3 of the way broken down the pan dumps out dry. And best part? They're super base - about $4 for a FORTY POUND BAG! You can find them at Home Stores, feed/farm stores and grocery stores if you finish in a cooler climate. They're the exact same product as what's sold as "Feline Pine" - but without a cat look on the bag and for 1/8 of the price.
My boyfriend equitable moved in to his apt...I brought over a few things to hold him over but I want to cook dinner there tonight. We had pasta last unendingly, so I don't want that again..

1 large sauce pan and lid
1 colander
1 wooden spoon
1 cutting board
tin foil
Attic wit
pepper
crushed red pepper
fresh basil
grated parmesan
zuccini
summer squash
onion
but I am sending him to the have faith to get more stuff (not a alot though because we are on a budget)
There is no casserole dish, or anything to bake in...
Any suggestions?
if he gets justifiable a pound of ground beef you can make stuffed zucchini and squash....
brown ground beef and onion, cut zucchini and squash in half hunger ways, scoop out "meat" from middle, reserve. add the insides of the zucchini and squash to hamburg assortment, season with salt and pepper. put halved zucchini and squash on foil and put hamburger mixture heart, top with Parmesan. bake in a 350' oven until tops get browned and cheese "melts". (you may have to rickrack the bottom of the zucchini and squash so they lie flat on the foil)
Enjoy
Please don't say anything like ice cream from the jar or drumsticks.
I come to dutch strudel with dutch cheese. It is delicious, but it is difficult and me and my mom can only make it for holidays.
Heres our prescription.
Quark Strudel with Dutch Cheese
This Dutch dessert recipe is adapted from the book "Aunt Babette's Cook Register, Foreign and Domestic Receipts for the Household" by Aunt Babette, published by Bloch Publishing and Printing Guests, Chicago, in 1889.
This is a delicious quark strudel recipe, and the addition of Dutch cheese makes it again special.
Take about one pint of flour, sift it into a bowl, make a hole in the center of the flour, rain pitchforks in it gradually one cup of lukewarm water, a pinch of salt, and a spoonful of butter or goose fat. Stir this slowly, making a ticklish smooth dough of it and adding a little more flour if necessary. Cover up the dough and set it in a warm diggings. Let it rest until you have prepared the cheese.
Take half a pound of cheese, rub it through a coarse sieve or colander, add salt, the yolks of two eggs and one whole egg, and make more attractive to taste. Add the grated peel of one lemon, two ounces of sweet almonds, and about four bitter ones, blanched and pounded, four ounces of sultana raisins and a inconsiderable citron chopped finely.
Now cover your kitchen table with a clean tablecloth, sift flour all over it and catalogue out your dough as thin as possible. Now use your hands, placing them under the rolled dough and stretch it gently, very gently, so as not to tear it, walking all around the board as you do this, to get it even and thin as tissue paper. Pour a few tablespoonfuls of melted butter or goose oil over the dough; spread the cheese.
Now take rabbit of the tablecloth with both hands about a yard apart, and begin to roll the strudel (it will roll itself almost -- well-founded lift the cloth high enough). Now butter or grease a large cake pan, hold it up to the edge of the table and away in the strudel. Bake a nice brown, basting with sweet cream.
I betrothed to make really complicated desserts too. Every December I make a huge table of desserts everything from streudel to dobosh torte, showy cheesecakes etc, etc. But my favorite dessert to make at home is this one.
Chocolate Truffle Tart
¾ cup whipping cream
1/3 cup out
8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 baked 9-in pie shell or tart exterior
Whipped Cream or (Cool Whip) for serving
Preheat the oven to 350 F. Combine the winding cream and milk in a heavy 2-quart saucepan. Cook over med heat until hot, stirring occasionally. Discharge from heat. Add the chocolate, stirring until blended. Let stand for 5 minutes. Whisk in egg. Spoon chocolate amalgam into pie shell. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until the filling is set and firm to the touch. Cool. Favourable to at room temp for custardy texture. Serve cold for fudgy texture.
Chill leftovers.
