Anyone in north Texas, have success growing a Corkscrew vine?

It's the vigna caracalla vine. From what I've impute to, it grows good in the zone 9 to 11 , I live in zone 8 .
So if you know anything about it, in northern Texas, let me be informed!

I've seen comments that they thicken in the Dallas area but need to be grown in a pot and before first frost, cut back then brought into a garage and keep from freezing

Where can i find information on Antique corkscrew with the word echternalh on a badge on it?

I have an antiquated corkscrew. Its shaped like a key and has grape vine designs on it. It looks brass with green faded into it. It has a white badge looking attitude with a dragon or bird design on it. any information will be greatly appreciated :)

how do you get rid of trumpet vine aerial rootlets on a brick wall?

the chunk has tiny cracks and the aerial rootlets have grown into these areas in shapes of little corkscrews, they are dry, and devoted to get out.

Man, it ain't amenable. Trumpet is nasty stuff that is VERY invasive. I'd soak the thing with Round-Up and then soak the cracks and garbage (anywhere roots might be) with vinegar. Apply the vinegar every 2-3 days for a couple weeks. The vinegar will put down the pH of the soil making it difficult or impossible for any plants to absorb water and nutrients needed to increase. The vinegar is a weak acid so it will not harm the brick. A few days after the vinegar application, the soil will restore to a normal pH.
