I have some exceptionally thin steaks I'd like to pan fry. They're top round steaks, and they're 1/8 inch thick.

Put a hardly ever cooking oil in your pan, and while your cooking it put some soy sauce on it, I promise you will like it!
i don't crave to marinade it cause i want to eat today
Sear and seal on both sides on excessive heat.
Turn heat down and cook slowly so centre is cooking.
I find that a dash of worcestershire sass on the steak whilst it is cooking helps to keep in tender and moist, and gives a slight flavour without being overpowering.
Don't discover the steak or try to flatten it while cooking.
