VERY Unhappy
I hope I'd try this garlic press, already being an owner of a Oxo Peeler, and was very disappointed in its performance.
Upon pressing the garlic both handles slid off in my hand making this my last Oxo artifact I will ever purchase.
Ecstasy!
Who would of reason I would get so excited about a garlic press that I would take the time to do a review! OK, I had the cheapy, move-out-for-the-first-time garlic press and after 20 years it bit the dust. This one is SO SUPERIOR! Holds multiple, UNPEELED ,cloves, presses with rest, leaving the skin behind, thus saving the peeling step. Nice heft, feels and works fast. So glad I bought it!
Benefit Every Penny:
Since I purchased this as a genius for my fiance who loves to cook, he and several of his guy friends have used it. Every single one of them is pleased with this garlic press. It fits comfortably into one's cuffs, crushes the garlic easily and efficiently, and is very simple to clean.
garlic press

I have tried many garlic pressors, they either cut apart with the pressure or

they didn't crush the garlic well. I,am amazionaly satisfied with this garlic press.

You have my seal of approval on this item.

I count on better from OXO
The search for an but garlic press is never-ending. This OXO press is fairly easy to use, I like the weighty feel, and it cleans up more easily than other presses I've owned. On the other within arm's reach, the pressings are coarser than average, and a significant amount of garlic remains in the press after each squeeze.

Freakin' fearsome
I am very thrilled that I took the plunge and ponied up for this press. It is very nice and well worth it. I stuffed 5-6 of the small cloves (unpeeled) and gave it a sweetheart. The garlic came out and the skin was all that was left. Nothing squeezed out the sides, and the strainer flips up and it is very easy to clean. I am most uneasy about its durability, so I will re-review in a year.
garliic mind
Presses garlic like nobody's job. Tool can be turned inside out for easy cleaning. Excellent design for easy use. I will be using a lot more
garlic in the later.
Garlic Press
This is a replacement press that I got after doing some into online. Almost got the one that was blue but wasn't sure if the color was all the way through and settled on the stainless steel version. Very well made consequence. Solid construction should last awhile. And after using it for about three weeks several times a week I'm very happy with the purchase. And would urge it to others.
Huge Product!!!
A preference to use. Great at getting everything out from the garlic and easy to clean. I use one myself and also gave several as presents and received praise for the quality and help.
Wow, je sais quoi is super!
Be dependable, the quality of this garlic press is excellent! it's very easy to clean! If you need some fresh fine garlic everyday, this one definitely will salvage your energy and time.

How do you use a garlic press?

I recently was affirmed a garlic press, but I don't know how to use it. Help!

To use a garlic press, first peel your garlic cloves, then employment them into the garlic press and press. That's all there is to it.

To peel garlic cloves, press the individual cloves with the flat side of a broad knife. This will loosen the papery husk which can then be easily removed

Peel the garlic and cut it into smaller chunks. Put in the garlic press. Holding the handles like scissors, girlfriend handles together firmly to squish the garlic. The garlic that remains in the little basket can me scraped from the press and added to the garlic that was squeezed through the press.

put garlic in the press and press it .

take a peeled clove of garlic and geezer it in the hole and squeze the handles and there u go

Peel the garlic clove and put it in. Then press the handles together. If it is a fitting press, you'll get some pulp and juice. If its a cheapy like I used to have, the handles will bend.

buy a bulb of garic, split it into cloves, put the clove veneer and all, into the press and sqeeze. Use the fresh garlic just like you would use dehydrated, or jar garlic, but be careful, fresh garlic is more potent

Can you put ginger through a garlic press?

Ok, I'm not very well-disposed at mincing things real tiny, I'm not good at wielding any knife larger than a paring pierce, and I'm not even really good with that. Can I put fresh ginger through a garlic press to make it small enough for a stir-fry I was thinking about making this week? Any opinion would be greatly appreciated! Thank you everyone in advance!

P.S. If you have a really good stir-fry recipe you'd like to dole out, that'd be awesome!!!

Ginger is very ropy, so a garlic press is not advisable. Unless you only want the moisture content.
Grating the ginger is the method that I use, and the tastiest way to raise a stir-fry dish.

Do you know of any garlic press, came across the Henckels brand? Is it good? Rosle is $60 in Sherway Gardens.?

The Rosle name brand claims to press garlic even with the peel on, am looking something easy to use, clean, long-lasting.

I have one from Pampered Chef that is very scrupulous. You can also press with the peel still on. Only thing is that you have to order it, unless you know someone who sells Pampered Chef who has one on hand. Here's a connect:
