I've lived in USA for 30 years.

Just said, you need a Daikon Oroshi Ki (a special grator for Daikon Oroshi).

No American grator will do the job, time. Regardless of how fine it is made.

Daikon Oroshi Ki is not expensive. (If is's made of plastic. Procelain one is expensive.)
Go to a Japanese grocery look for or super market if you live near one. And ask for Daikon Oroshi Ki.

Finest one, I go against the grain my Daikon Oroshi with the finest grater I have at home. Do not use blender.

Many, many products to hightail it daikon oroshi are sold in Japan.

You can find many products there.

I notion of this might work better for you. http://www.kushistore.com/acatalog/Daikon___Ginger_Graters.html
The microplane would even-handed make it into really small strips. Some box graters like this one sometimes have a really fine one too. I believe it's the Parmesan cheese offensive side. Anyway it's the side on you right in the picture.

Passion for Food: Winter can't chill citrus appeal
Speaking of tools, if you like using eagerness in recipes, a micro-plane zester/grater is wonderful to have. It makes quick work of going after the outer layer of citrus peel needed in recipes. This punctiliousness tool leaves behind the more bitter white pith.

Simple Changes Can Make an Old Recipe Your New Favorite
salubrious baking tip: If you see a cake that looks great but has an icing, glaze or other filling, just bake the cube and skip the excess for a healthier dessert. When you grate the carrots, use the small holes of a box grater or a Microplane zester.
