Is stainless steel measuring cup safe for a baby to chew on for teething?
My son is almost 9 months old and I gave him a stainless steel measuring cup to masticate on,it does not have a handle or anything sharp for him to hurt himself on,but is it too hard for his teeth?Can it harm his teeth?He really seems to like it.He has had his 2 bottom teeth for 4 months already.

Are you serious?? If you are then you should get something softer like a teething resonating or toy from the store for him to chew on. Metal could ruin his teeth.
i would not subscribe to it but i cannot see it , so all i can picture is the ones i have so i would have to say no, but use your best judgment, your mom, it helps, maybe it is different then mine

Yea.. metal is not very benevolent for their teeth, he might like it, but is he going to like it when it chips or breaks his tooth ? ouuch.. I understand some babies don't like teething rings, mine certainly didn't, but there's def. safer things for your little one to palaver on :)
Metal or anything too flinty can effect the development of the gums and teeth. You could harm the process of the alignment of your baby's adult teeth, and will be raw for him when his adult teeth start to form behind his baby teeth. I would advise you to definitely not give your son anything metal. I would say a teething chiming or a soaked washcloth would be safer.
babies will review on any darn thing. It will be ok this once, but I wouldnt make it a habit of giving it to him

I had been planning on getting a drinking-glass stove top kettle, but my mother bought me a stainless steel whistling one instead. Is there a rule of thumb for time/temperature? My stove is gas.
Simmer your water in a tea kettle and remove from heat. At this stage, the water temperature will be close to 200 F (93 C). Discharge hot water into an empty teapot, filling it. Water temperature will drop to around 185 F (85 C). The teapot is pre-warmed at the same while, which is a nice added benefit.

I can manage cookies from the bag but when it involves a recipe it goes all down hill from there. I think it's because of the flour!! I have two different kinds of measuring cups and they are shown below... I use the one that looks like a cup for the flour..
