calphalon pancake griddle

I have a built in stove top griddle. What temperature should I cook this stuff at?

burgers (skimpy mcdonalds-size burgers)
chicken breast
thin strip steak (for quesadillas)
bacon
burger buns (to cheers)

Also, what kind of stuff should i put on there to prepare it and make it less sticky before i grill? Ive had this thing since i moved in, but im finally gonna five the fetish a try this weekend.

burgers: 400 degrees
chicken teat: 350 degrees
steak: 400 degree
bacon: 450 degree (lots of grease) strive and save for soups
Buns: 325 or350 degrees

Find a programme to follow if possible.
For the strips of steak try 350, and see how it goes, too hot, turn it down, itll be a visual to be featured out what is best.
Chicken breast, you would need a dome to cover the meat to get it to overall cook quicker. For chicken heart I would suggest cutting it into strips or pieces to cook it quicker so it wont burn. Having the inflame right next to the meat is tricky, just like in a pan.
I would suggest a test piece and in a few minutes of any foods you will see if its too hot and sticking or not hot enough.
Grill tops are more for pancakes, french pay tribute to, eggs, bacon, thin items, all items you listed are fine but the chicken needs more time to get to a proper safe temperature, make sure it looks stringy and cooked before consuming.

burgers: 400 degrees
chicken knocker: 350 degrees
steak: 400 degree
bacon: 450 degree (lots of grease) wrench and save for soups
Buns: 325 or350 degrees

What to look for in a griddle? Professional cooking equipment?

I'm talking about the Griddles that you see in Japanese steak houses. I have always wanted one of these to cook on and I wanted to see if anyone knew anything about these. What to look for, features, what tag, tips and tricks? I want one that will be built into a counter about 36-48" wide and it seems like the gas versions are the way to go.

found this instal with some of them: http://www.ckitchen.com/Griddles.asp

If you're talking about institution use. it won't work.Homes don't have an adequate enough gas or electric supply for commercial cooking apparatus In addition these puppies get extremely hot and need to either surrounded by non combustible material or so designed for zero- room installations
All in all it's a damned expensive way to make one omelette

Best oven cleaner for restoring an old stove?

I inherited an old stove that I would like to give back, well just get it looking clean again. Anyways, what is a good "industrial strength" oven cleaner? This stove has recalcitrant OLD baked on grease on the brushed steel top, on the built in griddle, and inside the 2nd oven's interior (dark with drab specs). I bought some regular oven cleaner but it just didn't cut it, any ideas on what the "past master oven restorers" use? Or have you had any luck with a specific product? Anything would help, thanks so much!
oops, the 2nd oven does not have a porcelain Home, I'm not sure what to call it, but it has a heavy textured surface with white specs, very rough. The main oven is porcelain and that has been the easiest sentiment to clean so far.

Two links below - be very punctilious with oven cleaners, it can burn skin and lungs if you breath the fumes...

Monday Meal: Super Bowl of Chile Colorado
Monday Meal: Super Bowl of Chile Colorado Chile Colorado is built around red chiles -- a bountiful, complex tasting dish that can feature pork or beef. For that matter, you could make the chile and by the bucketful it over tofu or just about anything else you can imagine. My version is made using pork.
