Cowboys occupied to go by gradually Levi’s while cooking on their Hut cast iron pots hanging over the fire under the moonlight.

How can I season a cast iron griddle on a gas crepe maker?

I've infer from about putting cast iron pots, pans etc in the oven to season them, but how do I season the cast iron griddle plates on a gas crepe maker?

My Attendants101 article on the basics of making omelettes has a section on seasoning omelette pans (which also works for a crepe pan or exceedingly any other function).
You might also be interested in the article on making crepes.

I would friend the manufacturer for the specific instructions. Generally, oil is rubbed in and then it is heated.

How to best season the surface of a new cast iron griddle?

When you cook on a "new, casy iron" cooking pan, grill or griddle, etc. the poppycock cooked sticks on the surface very easily. I heard somewhere the sticking may be avoided or reduced by "relish" the cast iron surface. I'd like to know what is the best way to do this.

trend your oven up to 350
take some crisco liberally apply it to the cast iron you can also use vegetable oil
stick in oven let bake for an hour or so
stand for to cool wipe off any extra crisco
Never use soap and water to clean it with
whats going on is that cast iron has all these diminutive pores in it. seasoning fills up those pores with oil .

How hot do I need to get my cast iron griddle before cooking fillet steak?

by a hair's breadth wondering how to cook the perfect fillet steak.
I like medium-rare, and have a cast iron griddle.
unfortunately I have a halogen hob, but I'm not confident which heat setting to have it on to heat up the griddle. (or is it a case of the hotter the better?)

I like to fieriness the skillet until a few drops of water dance when added to it. Then I put the steaks on there, seansoned with a little lemon sprinkle and then, I put it into a 400 degree oven for 20 to 40 minutes. The time depends on the size and standing of the meat. This technique makes even the cheapest cuts of meats taste great and makes them uninitiated. But basically, I keep the meat in the oven until it looks good to eat.
