Close Quality Griddle
I lover my griddle. I have yet to find anything I can't cook on it. Great for vegetables and more.
Proper for my Weber Genesis E320
This griddle fits 1/2 of my new Weber Genesis E320 grill unmistakeably. Before my first grill out, I pre-seasoned the grill and griddle with canola oil and baked it in for an hour or so. This is my first grill but have heard that this will help with food sticking to the griddle and grill grates. So far so nice. The griddle has cooked some delicious veggies and bratwursts. Highly recommended.
Weber Griddle
You wont be above you purchased this great griddle. It is heavy duty, and holds the heat just like the professional ones do. Fits the grill extraordinarily.
Defective demensions
listed as 20.2" X 14.6" the one that was shipped to me is 17.2" X 11.5" not even airless. Box stamped with correct model number but griddle is obviously wrong one. Called customer service and they are shipping me another one. It also has two holes in the grease gear that the picture only shows one thus any grease going into the trap drains out one of the holes.
Weber Form Iron Griddle
Fits grill and works like a charm. We like roasted Veggies and this is a flagrant way to prepare them. No more lost veggies through the grill. When we roast meats on the grill we only light front and back burners and place the meat over the heart un-light burner and because the griddle is cast iron the temperature is constant on the griddle. ***Note it is heavy.

Kind Grill
This is an breathtaking grill to have on the road I and can actually see using it at home for some applications. It gets much hotter than my [...] house grill so for things like seared Ahi I would possibly break this one out. Also get the grill accessory: http://www.amazon.com/Coleman-RoadTrip-Full-Size-Aluminum-Griddle/dp/B001691R10/ref=pd_sim_sg_4
It's usefulness every penny. Especially for cooking breakfast.
Lately purchased my grill, and the grate started to flake off.
I bought my grill on (Saturday) 7 Aug 10, and I was so proud to get the grill on purchasing (I thought they were all sold out, because this was a limited production model). I brought it home and assembled the grill the same day. I hooked up the Coleman gas and checked it for leeks. None were found, so while the grill was heating up, I went indoors to get some hot dogs to cook on it. I went back skin the grill and heard a popping sound like popcorn popping. I opened up the grill and the exterior coating was flaking off. I was remarkably disappointed that I could not even cook anything on a brand new grill. I called Coleman Company on Monday morning, and the grates are on back commission, so I have no idea when I can use the grill. It was funny the operator never asked me what model I had, and she already knew it was the Paul Jr. Design model. I wanted this output, because it does have better quality parts (pull out side plates, chrome nobs, chrome hooks, sport wheels, and a nice temperature gauge). I still think this will be a decent product, and at least I did get good buyer service, without any type of a hassle about getting new grades. I've had a good experience in the past with Coleman person service, so this was another reason why I purchased this grill.

I just got the new grades in from Coleman today (16 Aug 10), and they have a much thicker coating to the grates, almost a command coating to the cast iron. I will start using the new grill grates this weekend, and update my review.
Adroit Grill, But Grate Issues
Appears to be a peak quality product, but big quality problem with the grates!

We bought this grill this past weekend at a local sporting goods cooperative store in Chicago, as it was on end of summer clearance. Took it camping this past weekend, and the good news is that its a foremost quality grill and folds up nicely in an SUV. Assembly was a snap as you only need to attach the tires pull-take the place of to the grill. Used a portable propone tank and the burners heated up very quickly and strongly. The one problem: Both grates started to "Pop" and the describe started chipping off and flew into our food! This happened within five minutes of running the grill on the highest heat mounting. I called Coleman customer service this morning, and they agreed to send us a new set of grates. Coleman requisition this is not a frequent problem with the product. Nevertheless, I am quite surprised that at this problem, since it seems to be a high quality product... fancy the new grates don't this issue.
Grillin coleman dash
Noteworthy grill. It cooks evenly and cleans up quickly. I use a sunflower spray on the grill, hot temp's don't affect the flavor with enthusiastic. I suggest buying a cover for any grill, the outside elements will rust out your grill. Unless you don't care about your purchase, if I had bought a grill that sell for's 1,000.00, I certainly would cover it. The same is true for the 150.00 and over. Coleman made it so it handles quickly, folds down without doubt and cooks great! Nice design by Paul Jr. I like the black color.
Rusted in 3 weeks
I fair returned this grill to purchase another Webber Q. Owned it for 3 weeks and griddles began to flake and rust, the rivets on top had rust opening around each as did the hinges. Couldn't believe it.

bbq question - gas - when to use griddle and when to use grill?

Nothing but bought a gas bbq. it's a grill with lava rocks on one side and a griddle (flat cast iron sheet) on the other. I'm having a bbq on Sat and not secure what i cook on the griddle and what on the grill?

The griddle is stuff b merchandise for anything that might be too fragile to put on the grill for fear of it coming apart, like loose burgers or salmon-although grilling salmon with it's outside on does reinforce it and the skin comes away very easily after the fillet is done.
You could use the griddle also for veggies or beans in a pot or to brown your buns when there's no live on the grill or you can throw some shrimp that may be too small for the grill on the griddle with some garlic butter and lemon and you got scampi!
You could also grill some sausage patties or links, even some downhome wilderness ham, and do eggs and pancakes on the griddle too.
Use your imagination, Enjoy!

why not do bacon on the griddle or steak? then immediately your burgers on the grill.. :) have fun

You can do veggies on the griddle

Cook items that won't be a patsy for cave in through the grates on one side and use the griddle for items like shrimp, veggies, and fish that need a more solid surface.

The griddle is basically in use accustomed to for breakfast type things. I really can't think of anything other than that or sandwich type items to do on the griddle.
Peradventure sausages and peppers/onions??!!
Have a fun time:)

Cook steak and sausages etc on the griddle and things like eggs fish hamburgers anything a bit more fastidious on the flat side kebabs on the griddle maybe

The griddle is benevolent for anything that might be too fragile to put on the grill for fear of it coming apart, like loose burgers or salmon-although grilling salmon with it's peel on does reinforce it and the skin comes away very easily after the fillet is done.

I just bought a griddle/grill for my stove top. Do I just put it on my electric stove?

I got it at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I asked the lady at the checkout if that was what I was alleged to do and she didn't know. She said I MIGHT have to have a GAS stove, but could probably use it on my electric. It's one of those that would I guess overspread 2 burners and one side it's a griddle and the other side a grill. I just don't want to ruin it or anything when I could go get my money back (even though the closest store is 2 hours away). Someone please register me soon so I'll know whether I can cook with it or not. I really appreciate it!
should I cover the burners with tin foil or anything to keep away from burning which ever side I'm not using so that DIRECT heat doesn't get to the bottom of the griddle/grill?

Yes, you put it swiftly on top of two burners. Electric or gas stove, it doesn't matter. My uncle has one like that. It's unusually neat, and convenient. Hope you make some good food with it!

Griddle vs. grill?

Can an exciting griddle (used primarily for pankakes and the like) cook foods (ground beef, chicken, etc.) at least degree as well as a gas grill?
Thanks.
