What pots and pans should we avoid with a new ceramic top stove, particulalry cast iron and long griddle pans?

We objective purchased an LG ceramic top stove/oven and have heard a great deal of conflicting advice on what resolve of pots and pans to avoid with electric stoves, partcularly the ceramic top types. The pans we would like to use are a large stamp iron Le Creuset pot and one of those long (18x30) rectangular griddle pans from Williams Sonoma, often used for pancakes and other loafers surface cooking, that would cover two burners on a normal sized stove. Would it be problematic if I used these pans? Unfortunately, gas is not a possible vibrations option so suggesting that I get gas is not helpful. Also, there is not bridge between the elements on this cook top.

I cogitate on if you place your LeCrueset on the stove, rather than sliding and dragging it around, you will be fine. The main key is for your pans to have a flat bottom, and not be warped, to get even and competent heating.

I have a ceramic top stove, and I have never had a predicament with the type of cookware I use. I rearly use cast iron, but I have used it, and it works great. All I can suggest is try it and see.

How do I remove a sticker from the bottom of a griddle pan?

I purchased a griddle pan at a state department store. When I got it home, I found that the manufacturer's sticker would not come off the bottom of the pan. I've tried saturated the pan in hot water and soap, scrubbing relentlessly and running it through the dishwasher. Any good ideas?

Use zippo lighter aqueous or bbq lighter and scrub till it comes right off

what can i use to chargrill if i don't have a griddle pan?

By griddle pan i specify the squarish pans kinda like frying pans but with lines down them. i need to chargrill tofu and vegetables, but don't be sure if a regular frying pan will work.

any hot pan will toil fine. you want a good hot pan so they'll get some color before cooking all the way through and getting messy. you could also put them under a broiler.
