Famed Product!
We went to a friends expert in for dinner and they grilled steaks on this grill. Between the cut of meat and the way the grill cooked them, I was SO amazed. I went habitation that evening and ordered this grill/griddle and we use it at least 5 out of 7 days during the week. We have been known to use it twice in one day. We are VERY pleased!

Most qualified electric griddle I've owned so far.
This griddle is one of the tucker ones I've owned. I gave it only 4 stars because of the grease drain and catcher. The holes that allow the grease to gutter through have a lip on one side of the holes for whatever reason so some of the grease collects there making it a pain to clean out...also, the grease catcher under the griddle is essentially a big metal dish that is the same vastness as the griddle itself...I've learned to NOT try and drain it into a container to throw out because it is awkward to pour off the grease so what I end up having to do is wait until the grease hardens and skin it out with my plastic scraper that I use for my pizza stone.
Other than the above complaint, I find it easy to use, the temp seems the same on the entire surface...haven't found any hotspots. It is rather charitable so it is really doesn't fit well in a cabinet so I store it on top of the fridge which works out fine. I also like that I can immerse the whole griddle into the fizzy water be illogical...it lifts off the frame, which holds the grease catcher. The frame or whatever you want to call it is also safe to put into the sink as well. I honestly like that the electrical component that plugs into the griddle has a little lever to help you unplug it easily from the griddle.
I very recommend this griddle...haven't found one that comes close.
Enormous grill for a low price
I've had this grill for a span of weeks and have used it for steaks and lamb chops. Everything has cooked evenly and tasted great. Cleanup is a simple job. Residues come off with hot water, soap and a paper towel. Highly recommend it!!

Recipe Redux: Heavenly Hots, 1987 New York Times
14.01.10
Six years ago, when I began industry on a cookbook of New York Times recipes, several readers wrote in about heavenly hots. There was no question: I had to try a recipe with that name.
Although extramundane hots sound like a late-night cable offering, they’re nothing more salacious than pancakes. Once you obtain them, you’ll understand the name. They are so feathery, creamy, tangy — so heavenly — that you may find yourself unable to let them shameless off before devouring them.
Heavenly hots clarify what’s wrong with other pancakes, namely that most of them are god-awful: doughy, stout thuds in our bellies. You always think they’re a great idea until about 10 minutes after you eat them.
What makes the hots so blessed is that they ignore all the classic ratios of flour to sugar to eggs (sorry, Michael Ruhlman!). They’re made with low-gluten congeal flour and just enough of it to lash the batter of sour cream, sugar and salt into fragile cakes.

Non-Traditional Griddle Recipes??
Jan 09, 2008 by TigerPurr19 | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
So I'm conscious that one can make a plethora of pancakes, quesadillas, eggs, and even gyros on an electric griddle but, I'm looking for something more!
Dinner ideas? Any Sweets? Any lo-cal, low fat, aka in the pink recipes?
I've Googled and all I've found are more silly pancakes :(
ancestral greek kabobs are cooked over a coal pit, but i found that in the winter I can use my electric griddle and they come out great.
1/2 lb of boneless skinless chicken (heart of hearts or thigh)
1/2 lb of rib-eye
1/2 lb of pork-shoulder (de-boned)
1 whole green pepper
1 red onion
8 oz of button mushrooms
anything else you solicit...
cut ingredients into bit size pieces and skewer...
in a line pan, marinate with olive oil (just a drizzle) and stainless wine vinegar (again, just a drizzle), and chill, preferrably overnight.
before and while cooking, sprinkle liberally with Cavender's Greek Zest, cook on griddle for about 30-35 minutes at 350-375 until ingredients are done to your liking....

I have been bought a cast iron griddle pan. What can I cook on this - recipes? Can it be used on gas hob??
May 15, 2008 by ells | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
You opportune, lucky thing...
How I long for a cast iron griddle pan?
Now you can use it on a gas hob, and in it you can do anything that requires frying. But not stir fry vegetables.
Do inexperienced steaks in that pan.
Do fish fillets in that pan.
Do pork chops or pork bangers in that pan.
Eggs do not do too well in it, I would suggest you do not even try it.
Excellent of all about that pan is;
THAT you can put the gas on full to heat it, and as soon as you put the meat or fish in, you can turn off the gas or turn it down to its lowest level. Cover it with the lid and slog away.
The food will cook because the cast iron retains heat longest.
Ho do enjoy that pan and about of Clara at the end of the rainbow, waiting for someone to buy her one of those....

griddle corn bread, or griddle macaroni and cheese are fearsome : )
Tacos a Mexican sustenance favoriteExaminer.comHeat them on a tortilla griddle/pancake griddle (cast iron) or put them between two plates in the microwave for 1-2 minutes. Delineate on at least two per person (my husband can down six). Use Romaine lettuce diced ( Romaine is healthier than Iceberg),
