Electric griddles in dishwasher?

my bf and mate say u can put electric griddles in the dishwasher.. i say you cant... which is true?

no no no don't put them in the dish washer it will d them, any thing that gets plugged in doesn't go into the dishwasher...

it wouldn't be bad while it was in the dishwasher, but the next opportunity you plug it in ... ZAP

if it has a removable cook top, that part is okay to put in the dishwasher

Ive not seen any that are dishwasher solid. If it has a cord/plug I would leave it out of the dishwasher. Most electrical kitchen appliances say not to immerse in water.

Depends on the industrialist of the product. Some manufacturers make their product so that it is safe to put in the dishwasher, others don't. So you would have to read the information that came with the stimulating griddle to find out.

a kitchenette store. u could try wal mart, but to find a good one the home and kitchen stores are the best place. hey may sound odd,but sometimes you can even find them somewhat cheap at yard sales from time to time i see them around
