For More Info or to Buy Now: www.hsn.com Viante Indoor Grill with Griddle PlateYour rainy-day grilling denouement has arrived. Enjoy delicious ...

I decent purchased (but didn't use yet) an Emerilware reversable grill/griddle. The instructions say "not recommended for ceramic or magnifying glass stove tops". I've looked up a few sights where people say it's okay as prolonged as I use the smooth side (griddle) down". Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks!!
I don't notion of you're supposed to. I'd read the documentation that came w/ my stove and follow those guidelines to be safe and sound.
I got it at Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I asked the lady at the checkout if that was what I was expected to do and she didn't know. She said I MIGHT have to have a GAS stove, but could probably use it on my electric. It's one of those that would I guess include 2 burners and one side it's a griddle and the other side a grill. I just don't want to ruin it or anything when I could go get my money back (even though the closest store is 2 hours away). Someone please guide me soon so I'll know whether I can cook with it or not. I really appreciate it!
should I cover the burners with tin foil or anything to dodge burning which ever side I'm not using so that DIRECT heat doesn't get to the bottom of the griddle/grill?
Yes, you put it dyed in the wool on top of two burners. Electric or gas stove, it doesn't matter. My uncle has one like that. It's in point of fact neat, and convenient. Hope you make some good food with it!
I use my dash-iron skillets, but am afraid to use the grill/griddle.
Holly is fairness I had a friend who tried what your proposing and split the top cost them $300 to replace, plus a grill/griddle straddles 2 burners and will conclusion the wiring, I would recommend to buy what I did I got one just 2 weeks ago at Walmart of all places ($29.95 Canadian), it plugs in and is 19" elongated and 11" wide ( has settings from 275 to 400 d F), I can do grilled cheese, pancakes, french darling, burgers and schnitzels, they are non stick, store in a cupboard and are more eefecient, they heat more evenly and are more washable.

Fixing an icon But the pro tem unit's stainless steel griddle top just won't impart the same flavor to her hamburgers as the damaged grill, Phillips lamented. “It's veteran and it cannot be duplicated,” Phillips said. Buying a replacement grill top is impossible. |

Retired firefighter's North Fort Myers sports bar safe bet The EMS Singular features a ½-pound burger with grilled-cheese-and-bacon sandwiches in place of its bun. The dish is more jaw-dropping than it is mouthwatering (the grilled cheeses needed more formerly on the griddle), but it's very good nonetheless; |
