I have a built in stove top griddle. What temperature should I cook this stuff at?

burgers (modest mcdonalds-size burgers)
chicken breast
thin strip steak (for quesadillas)
bacon
burger buns (to pledge)


Also, what kind of stuff should i put on there to prepare it and make it less sticky before i grill? Ive had this thing since i moved in, but im finally gonna five the constituent a try this weekend.

I have a stove top pitch iron grill griddle that i've used once and now don't know how to clean. I was advised against dish soap by a boyfriend so thats out of the question and it didn't come with any type of guide or instructions. please help


Move with hot water,and a steel scrubbie pad. Dry off ,then apply a bit of veg. oil with a paper towel. Always keep a sheen of oil on it,that way it won't rust. After a while,a black butyraceous coating will form. That is what you want.

Unfortunately no. The iron griddle most disposed to has a VERY rough surface on the bottom which could scratch the glass surface. You also cannot use copper bottom pans on a glass top stove. Although easy to pure and sexy looking, glass top stoves are a bit of a pain when it comes to versatility with pans.

I have a gas turkey fryer that I use with my cast iron pans (setup shell on the deck) when I feel like cooking with iron.
