oregano goes well, don't bedclothes in butter or it will steam and get soggy
bake at a high temp, 400 or so for 15-25 mins depending on the thickness
i would plunge in olive oil, oregano and garlic, spread on a cookie sheet and bake

I'd in all likelihood put them on a greased cookie sheet at about 350 for 15 minutes or so and the salt them to taste
I do them on the BBQ all the times , nothing well-advised than hot salty asparagus off the grill

Roasted Asparagus Almondine
Shake the asparagus is a big bowl with a little clarified butter, toasted sliced almonds and a little salt and fleck. Spread on a sheet pan and roast at 350 F for about 15 min or until tender.
Another good version is to do the same thing with sesame oil, toasted sesame seeds and brackish and pepper.

don't bake it, grill it, put it fairly close to the heating element. Only use asparagus that is about a pencil thickness for this, if it is really thick, but in half lengthwise. Plunge it in olive oil, season with salt and pepper, put it on a foil lined baking tray and broil for about 7 minutes on each side.
Fervidness the broiler up for a few minutes before cooking, and make sure your tray is close to the heating element on the top.
Upright luck!

if you have a grill (or if you don't wanna go case, use a frying pan or stove-top grill) preheat to high. In a small dish, place your asparagus (cleaned and whole) along with olive oil, sea salt (I like kosher salt) and pepper. Toss around (feel free to add any spices that you think will facilitate). Turn your grill (or frying pan) down to low and place coated asparagus on the grill by itself (not on any pan). turn the asparagus on each side to cook thoroughly. it is done when it is nothing but a bit crispy on the outside

I taste Baked Asparagus and it's so simple. Season it and lay it flat on a sheet pan with all of your additives, like italian meats (diced and layered on top) red peppers, scallions, red onions, cherry/grape tomatoes, I could go on and on with such flavors, but with Salmon and Alfredo pasta, I invent all of these go well with your menu. Set your oven on 400 and bake for 1/2 hr. They should be soft, yet crisp inside and drenching in all the flavors of what you have put with them or lofty on their own! If they are the larger Asparagus Spears, you might want to cook them longer.............Happy Valentines Day and Happy cooking!

Regularly they do fine around 350 for around 15-20 minutes depeding on the stove. You can toss them in melted butter. What tastes exceedingly yummy is adding lemon slices on the top with salt and pepper.

Baked Asparagus

If ineluctable, add only enough of the remaining olive oil to coat the asparagus. Place the asparagus in a single layer on a cookie sheet, season with suspiciously and pepper. Bake until tender or crunchy depending upon your preference, about 12 to 20 minutes.
Tips: (Shortcut chef) Let fly asparagus with oil, salt and pepper as directed below and store in refrigerator until you're ready to bake it off. Get into the habit of spending 5 to 15 minutes prepping tonight or tomorrow's dinner during the day and you will be eating in more than out. The avoirdupois will come off quicker with home cooked healthful meals and you know it.
Tip: From mom's lips to your ears: You forgot to narrate them to snap off the woody bottoms. Tell em to hold asparagus, one at a time, in their hands near the cut end and snap it like kindling. Innate Nature saw to it that the asparagus breaks in just the right spot, save the ends for stock.
Morph: Call one other simple veggie side and a piece of oven baked fish such as salmon and dinner is all done. Cook off additionally asparagus and throw it into a frittata, polenta, or pasta later in the week.
If the Queen's coming for dinner, turn cooked asparagus with fresh lemon, plate and garnish with thin curls of Parmesan.
Tip: Asparagus starts losing its sweetness the notes it's cut, therefore, as always, look for the freshest stalks possible. Skins should be smooth and bright colored with tightly formed heads.
