I found a beet recipe before, for baked beets with a sweet sauce.?

I muse on I used sugar and flour and I don't remember the rest. Does anyone know where I can find this recipe?
Can you use fresh not canned beets?


Glazed Beets

* 1 can (16 ounces) sliced or diced beets
* 2 tablespoons sugar
* 1 tablespoon cornstarch
