Can I bake bread in a baking pan instead of a loaf pan?

I only have an 8x8 pan and a 9x13 pan. The means is for banana bread. I do not have a 9x5 loaf pan as it calls for. What should I bake it in and can I even do that without compromising the bread?
I also have the 9" rounds for cakes and such...could I use this?

yes, you should be brilliant. make sure to spray the corners w/ a non-stick butter spray. i love the corners of bread and the butter drop is very pleasing.

You may use any paradigm of pan. I use a round cake pan sometimes to make white bread. It makes it look interesting and exotic.

How do you bake bread, without getting the center uncooked?

I bake the most superbly banana bread, but for the life of me, even if I leave the bread in the oven for 15 minutes longer, I still get the entire center liquidy. I'm tiring to figure out if there is a special way to get the entire loaf cooked fully, even the center, without having to WAY overcook my banana bread. Clue: it is a square banana bread (not rectangle), and it cooks at 350 for 40 minutes, per the recipe.


Is it a 9x9 pan? 350 for 40 minutes is more than enough rhythm to bake it.

Invest in an oven thermometer like the others said or decrease your liquid or add flour.
