How long and at what temp should I bake chicken breast?

The cudgel of boneless chicken breast that I have is already cut into strips. I am going to put some seasonings on it and then bake it on a baking dish with tin foil on the bottom of it. How long and at what tempurature should I bake the chicken for? Should I find it during the process?


Bake at 350 for perhaps 20 - 30 minutes. Be sure to watch them as it will take much less time than if they were still whole.
No need to turn or do anything with them at all.

Whole, they would take 45 - to an hour.

When I cook chicken breasts I put them in a broiler pan and envelop it with foil on 375 for 30 mins. The meat falls right off the bones and is very tender regardless of prep.

350. i'd say twenty minutes cuz they're cut in2 strips. full breasts 30 min. w/bone dialect mayhap longer. cut 1 in half 2 make sure there is no pink left. you could make rice in the same dish if it's beamy enough. just remember 4 every cup of rice u need 2 cups of water or other liquid. eg. diluted juice, chicken hoard or veg stock. just place the strips over rice & liquid. the chicken should be done when the rice is done. if your gonna make rice don't 4get 2 retreat it. more tinfoil will b perfect if u have no lid.


Unspecifically chicken *breasts* will stay much more moist if they're not cut up into small pieces (and definitely if they're not cooked *too long* no matter which cooking method you use).

For symmetrical (uncut) chicken breasts, I usually bake mine at 375 F for exactly 17 minutes (proteins will continue to cook a bit in the 5 minutes after removing them from warmth and that's also good for keeping the juices in). Do not turn... not necessary.
So for baking strips, you might pine for to use a bit less time than 17 minutes, or just push a bunch of the strips together so they'll cook more like unitary breasts.
(I often have added a rub, or marinaded the breasts awhile, or added a bit of a sauce on top when I cook them too, but if not really thick that won't transform baking time).

If you bake breasts (or any meat) with the bone in, cooking can take a little longer though (but leaving the bone in will also fantasize for more moist results).

Boneless should only take about 30 min at 350 degrees
Bone in should take about 45 min at 350 degrees
(internal temp of chicken should understand 150 degrees, let rest 5-10 minutes and internal temp should read 160 degrees

You might estimate creating a sort of parcel out of tin foil. Simply pull out enough foil to cover your baking tray twice, put the chicken and sauces on it, then enfold over the foil and scrunch up the edges to create a seal.

I'd bake the breasts at gas 5 (that's 190 Celsius, or 375 Fahrenheit) for around 35 minutes. Unceremonious!
