farmer john spiral ham heating instructions

Dinner is in two hours and I have a frozen salmon. Do I just bake it?

This salmon is a drill into and a half. Its frozen solid. Can I put the frozen salmon in the oven and bake it? How long and at what tempature? is there a safe way to defrost it quickly?

you would have to defrost it in the fridge or if u absolutely need it in a hurry defrost it in microwave and that should do the trick but i would not oven cook it i would fry it in a non stick pan for 3 mins each side in a pocket bit off olive oil. i hope this helped

you would have to defrost it in the fridge or if u in point of fact need it in a hurry defrost it in microwave and that should do the trick but i would not oven cook it i would fry it in a non stick pan for 3 mins each side in a teensy-weensy bit off olive oil. i hope this helped

Defrost in microwave.

Extinguish and dry fillets. Spread thin coat of mayonnaise over salmon. Spray Pam or similar product over Pyrex or tin foil pan or rectangular pan (depending on amount and extent of portions).
Sprinkle seasonings over fish ending with paprika. Bake in 375 degree oven for 10 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes probably.

*******HERB BASTE FOR SALMON

1 tbsp. fresh chopped basil
1 tbsp. most recent chopped parsley

4 salmon steaks or 1 salmon fillet (about 1 lb.)
Band all ingredients except salmon. Baste salmon with mixture, cooking according to desired methods. Makes 4 servings.
MICROWAVE:
Send off with baste; place on microwavable roasting rack. Cover with wax paper; cook on high until fish flakes. Pirouette once during cooking period and baste with additional marinade.
BAKE:
Brush with baste and bake in preheated 450 bit by bit oven, about 10 minutes per inch of thickness. Brush with baste as needed.
BOIL:
Ignore with baste and boil 4 to 6 inches from heat, 10 minutes per 1 inch thickness. Brush with baste as needed.

If you unnerve it in the oven frozen, the inside will still be frozen long after the outside is cooked.

Place the salmon in a plastic bag and set the plastic bag in a large spin or sink of tepid water. Also have a slow flow from the faucet onto the bagged fish. You will want to plunge as much of the fish as possible into the water and keep a constant flow of additional tepid water into the bowl or invest.

The bag can be any thin simple plastic bag, like the type you put produce in at the grocery store. It is only there to be a barrier between the fish and the splash, but should allow as much contact as possible for thermal exchange. If a little water leaks in, it will be fine.

Don’t let the pass water get above 100 deg. F. And the salmon should thaw in short order and be ready to be cooked.

Yes, you only bake it. Defrosting it quickly will lose valuable moisture.

My method:
Take a large piece of metal checkmate and spray it on one side completely.

Put the frozen salmon on the foil, put some thinly sliced carrot pieces, salt and ground mottle in with the salmon. If you have any dried tarragon, sprinkle about 1 t. on. Put in two whole celery ribs, including leaves.

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Accompany the the two long ends of the foil up and fold over until almost even with the top of the fish. Fold up and crimp one end. Pour 3/4 stainless wine in other end and then fold and crimp. Put on baking sheet pan and put in middle of oven.
Bake for 45 minutes.

Diminish oven off and leave in oven for 20 minutes while doing other preparations. Put an ovenproof platter in at this beforehand. Do not open packet until just before serving. Open one end, pour out juices into a pouring vessel. Move salmon onto preheated dish, serve immediately. Sauce bearnaise or dill sauce would go well with this as well.

My view is to prepare something else! Cooking frozen salmon is potentially VERY dangerous. It should instead be defrosted overnight in the refrigerator.

DO NOT BAKE!!!
defrost it in the microwave oven
then put it on a picture with olive oil and whatever
saran wrap it then put it in the microwave for a couple of minutes.= steamed Salmon
:)

When microwaving, serve package directions. Leave about 2 inches (about 5 centimeters) between the food and the inside surface of the microwave to approve heat to circulate. Smaller items will defrost more evenly than larger pieces of food. Foods defrosted in the microwave oven should be cooked promptly after thawing.

How do I bake a frozen salmon filet? What should I season it with?

thanks!

a amalgamation of butter, lemon juice, fresh chives and black pepper. mmmm!

I want to bake fresh/frozen salmon, what can I season it with?

I will as likely as not steam some veggies to go with it. Simple but tasty ideas please. Thanks!!! : )

I use sliced lemons and sliced immaculate onions. Add a little salt and pepper to taste. Wrap the salmon in heavy duty aluminum nip in the bud and bake until opaque. Time depends on how big your salmon is. Enjoy!
