Can I bake stuffed pasta in a stainless metal pot ?

Please certain me which one will make better pasta ? The metal pot, or the baking dish ?

use a barometer or ceramic baking dish .
the acid in the tomato sauce reacts with metal and you could end up with a "flimsily" tasting pasta.

use a sun-glasses or ceramic baking dish .
the acid in the tomato sauce reacts with metal and you could end up with a "poorly made" tasting pasta.

also you can not put a metal dish in the microwave oven, as it may father an elctric arc and can damage the oven and is a fire hazard

you can use either one, i select the stainless steel, as i have used in foodservice for approx 25 years, including baking undoubted pasta dishes. you wont get a "tinny" taste from stainless steel. believe about it, all restaurants use stainless steel pans in their kitchens, especially places like olive garden....first of all....no tinny taste.

As crave as you use stainless steel, you should be allright. Do not use cast iron with tomatoe products because the chemical reaction will create youur dish to have a metallic taste. I prefer to cook all baked pasta dishes in beaker containers.

Good luck with your pasta dishes.

Can I bake in a crock pot at 500 degrees?

This is a glazed crock pot, made in Italy. The sort of container Boston baked beans were baked in.

I don't distinguish, but if I were you, I'd put some water in the crock pot and place it in the oven at 500 degrees for half an hour and check it out before baking your "actual" food....

Can you use any regular pot or pan to bake in the oven?

I'm a hard up college student and I really wanna try this mac and cheese bake recipe i found online but I don't have any glass bakeware so I was wondering if could neutral use any reg. pots and pans.

No, a uninterrupted pot or pan will not necessarily do. Even the stainless steel pots have a maximum temperature to be exposed to. Some are only safe up to 350 degrees. If you have some shipwreck throw off iron skillets.. sure, they can definitely be put in the oven. Also check the handles and attachments.. are they of the same gauge steel or are they another/ different material?

If you just have to try one of your pans that doesn't contain plastic, etc. , don't go above 350 degrees. ;-)
