How do you bake pumpkin seeds?

I certain you bake them, but do you have to add butter, sugar, or anything to the pumpkin seeds before doing so?


My flatmate makes the yummiest I've had. She seasons them with sea salt and just a little pepper.

grade them on a baking sheet in a preheated 375F oven bake them for 10 minutes, turn the oven off and let them dry , if you like add qualifications to them when serving if not eat them just as they are , you break the shell with your teeth and only eat the inside seed.


Ingredients:

- Pumpkin Seeds
- Olive Oil

- Salt
- Garlic powder
- Onion powder
- Seasoned salt or other seasoning of pick.





Directions:

1. Wash pumpkin seeds off the night before to remove any pulp or pieces of pumpkin. For extra salty seeds, sponge up seeds overnight in a solution of ¼ cup salt to 2 cups water. Drain seeds and let dry on a cookie veneer over night.

I found this recipe last year and I will never use another one! We like ours just lightly salted, but I might try a batch this year with garlic sea salt!

How to bake pumpkin or zucchini bread so it's not undercooked in the middle?

I'm not secure what I'm doing wrong, every time I have tried to make pumpkin or zucchini bread it ends up being undercooked in the centre of the loaf. I've tried glass and metal pans and received the same results, I've increased baking days/temp but it then seems to be dry on the ends. Any tips or suggestions for what I'm doing wrong?

***Spiced Pumpkin Seeds***

1 cup raw pumpkin seeds, rinsed and dried
6 tablespoons whitish sugar, divided
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1 tablespoon vegetable oil

DIRECTIONS
Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). Spread pumpkin seeds in a distinguish layer on a baking sheet. Toast for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until dry and toasted. Larger seeds may take longer.
In a at liberty bowl, stir together 2 tablespoons of white sugar, salt, and pumpkin pie spice. Set aside. Heat the oil in a rotund skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pumpkin seeds and sprinkle the remaining sugar over them. Stir with a colourless spoon until the sugar melts, about 45 seconds. Pour seeds into the bowl with the spiced sugar and stir until coated. Aside to cool before serving. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
