how to bake rice krispy treats the right way?

everytime i try to impart them, they seem to always have too much marshmallow, or too little and are really dusty dry. i also want to add peanut butter to it, what is a perfect way to bake these. also, how do i measure the rice krispies, in the shoddy measuring cup or glass measuring one? any help for a fellow with minimal experience in the kitchen is much appreciated =]
no cathy. i yen for them!

You don't bake them... The most superbly recipe is the one on the back of the box. Do exactly what it says and they will come out just fine. Just so you know- the glass measuring cups are obliged to be for liquids, so the most accurate way to measure dry ingredients is to use the plastic "nested" measuring cups.

I don't neediness to be a smart alleck, BUT --don't bake them!! HA

Precisely make sure you are completely softening the marshamallows and that the butter is melted. Measure the krispies with any dry rhythm cup. I've never baked a rice krispy treat since everything is stove top. If you want to add pb, here's a recipe I've used from recipezaar:

(I omit the chips and they still are mouth-watering)

Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips together in microwave (start with 1-2 minutes, then, intoxicating intermittently, 30-second intervals until melted).
Spread melted chips over Rice Krispie combination.
Refrigerate until chocolate-butterscotch mixture hardens (very quick, about 30 minutes).

All you de facto have to do is put them in the fridge after all the ingredients are together.

Don't bake them. Use the dry gage cup (the plastic ones) and level it off. Make sure you use fresh marshmallows, the older ones don't move right. You can add 1/2 cup peanut butter to the marshmallow mixture after it's melted. Stir it in off the heat until blended.

swell its because your baking them

Okay rice krispies are not to be baked.

I worn to have the same problem wit my rice krispie treats. The fresh marshmellow tip is a good one, but here is what I always did. I over cooked/heated the marshmellows. When they are mostly melted slaughter from heat (or take out of microwave) and keep stirring until they are all smooth. Then add the cereal using the plastic nesting cups. You don't have to be presise in leveling them off but the cereal should be pleasant and even.

The recipe that soda gave is a very good one. I only use 1/2 teh amount of both the chips though becuase it gets a little strong for me other wise.

How to make from Scratch Chicken and Rice Bake?

Need recipe for Chicken/Rice Bake with mayo?

A college roommate adapted to to make this and I would love the recipe. Basically you mix rice with a can of cream of chicken soup, mayo and mustard I contemplate. Then you top it with chicken and smother the chicken with the remaining sauce mix. It is baked in the oven. Thank you if you can help!!!
You in reality mix the rice with the mayo mixture, I cannot remember if water is added. The Paula Deen recipe below looks wonderful, however, does not use mayo, so this isn't the way I am looking for.

Here is the roll from Campbell Soup website for all recipes with cream of chicken soup, chicken and rice. There are 114 (contrite) -- I couldn't refine search any more so you'll have to look at them and see which include mayo. Also, btw, you will have to add water if the rice is uncooked.
