Cooking rice can be daunting for people new to the larder. With this step-by-step video guide, you'll be making perfect rice every time ...

everytime i try to impart them, they seem to always have too much marshmallow, or too little and are really dusty dry. i also want to add peanut butter to it, what is a perfect way to bake these. also, how do i measure the rice krispies, in the shoddy measuring cup or glass measuring one? any help for a fellow with minimal experience in the kitchen is much appreciated =]
no cathy. i yen for them!
You don't bake them... The most superbly recipe is the one on the back of the box. Do exactly what it says and they will come out just fine. Just so you know- the glass measuring cups are obliged to be for liquids, so the most accurate way to measure dry ingredients is to use the plastic "nested" measuring cups.
I'd like to take to one's heels a chicken and rice bake from scratch, but I don't want to make it with any type of canned cream of whatever soup. Just an reliable to goodness, from scratch recipe.
Any ideas?
~note: The reason without cream of whatever soup is because I don't have any and don't feel like prevalent to the store. I do have milk, cream and other acrutaments... Just need help!
Olivia, dear, I asked without a canned of cream of whatever soup. LOL
Thanks anyway~
oh my mom makes this so kind!
take a casserole dish and put in 2 cups water and 2 cups rice. then take a chicken buillon or 2 (the seasoning that comes in ramen) and mix it in, mix all around. then take your chicken and lay it on top of the rice. ripen with garlic powder, salt & pepper. cover tightly with foil and bake at 400 for about 30 minutes boneless or 45 minutes with bones. the rice tastes all chicken-y mmmmm i darling it
A college roommate adapted to to make this and I would love the recipe. Basically you mix rice with a can of cream of chicken soup, mayo and mustard I contemplate. Then you top it with chicken and smother the chicken with the remaining sauce mix. It is baked in the oven. Thank you if you can help!!!
You in reality mix the rice with the mayo mixture, I cannot remember if water is added. The Paula Deen recipe below looks wonderful, however, does not use mayo, so this isn't the way I am looking for.
Here is the roll from Campbell Soup website for all recipes with cream of chicken soup, chicken and rice. There are 114 (contrite) -- I couldn't refine search any more so you'll have to look at them and see which include mayo. Also, btw, you will have to add water if the rice is uncooked.
