BAKED SALMON FILLETS OR STEAKS

Salmon fillets, any portion size, boned and skinned
Onion grind, to taste be generous
Garlic powder, to taste be generous
Dried dill, to taste be eleemosynary
Mrs. Dash, to taste be generous
Mayonnaise
Paprika

Wash and dry fillets. Spread thin coat of mayonnaise over salmon. Cloak Pam or similar product over Pyrex or tin foil pan or rectangular pan (depending on amount and size of portions).
Sprinkle seasonings over fish ending with paprika. Bake in 375 measure oven for 10 to 20 minutes or until fish flakes easily.

Note: This recipe is wonderful acclimatized for boned and skinned chicken

Put sheet under the fillet in a pan.

Add garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper. Put slices of Lemon, orange and onion on top of the salmon. Dot the whole id with lots of butter. Alternatively, pan sear it (shell up) with a bit of of canola oil (or anything with a high smoke point) and a pinch salt for 1-2 minutes each side. Then transfer to before mentioned pain for 10-12 at 375ish.

It depends on thickness of the fillet or steak. 10 minutes per inch of thickness at 375. If you are poaching in chaste wine add an additional 5 mins. over the total time. If you are also cooking veggies I would build a separate bag of aluminum foil and start it 5-8 mins before putting the fish in the oven.

Same rule of thumb re: thickness, when grilling or pan frying. To check-up try to flake with a fork or press against the fish it should by firm and with resistance.
