How do I bake stuffing without putting it in the chicken?
Oct 26, 2007 by mamaof4lovies | Posted in Cooking & Recipes
My silence does not like the stuffing to be cooked in the bird. Does anyone know how I can make the stuffing in the oven? How long do I cook it for and at what temperature?
Ethical put some butter in a pan on the stove let it melt and cook!
Delicious!

You well-founded put it in a separate pan and cook it until it's warm/a little crunchy on top. Your husband's looking out for you. Stuffing in the middle of a raw bird will absorb the salmonella and, being in the mid-section of the bird, will not reach the appropriate temperature to kill the bacteria off.

wrap it in tinfoil add some butter and bake. You could also baste it with soup bloodline for more flavor. ♥♥♥

I would bake in a casserole dish at 375 for 30-45 minutes, no more than keep an eye on it and it should be fine.

Put your stuffing mix in a pyrex casserole dish, bake covered 30 minutes, uncover and bake 5 more minutes. 10 more if you would like crispier or dryer. Set over at 350 degrees F first of process.

Cooking the stuffing in the bird also dries out the substance, so it's better to cook it in a separate pan. Depending on how much you make, add about a cup of chicken broth and cover it with tinfoil. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees (or whatever the oven is already on for the rolls is how I do it)

The Largest way is a casserole called Chicken and Cornbread Dressing. Dressing is what you call Stuffing when it isn't cooked in the bird. I like dressing MUCh much outdo. Below is a recipe that is very similar to the one my family has loved for years. I would say to use all cornbread instead of a combination of cornbread and bread slices. I like the cornbread fabric the best. And don't forget to season it with RUBBED sage. Ground sage is gritty and it is SOO much better than poultry relish alone

You can bake it at about 350 F. in a buttered baking dish. Take in it with foil and bake about 40 minutes or so.

At 325 F, I by bake mine in a 1 1/2 quart buttered casserole dish for about 45 minutes to one hour with the lid on. I check, though, after about 30 minutes straight to see how it is coming along.

I am making stuffing out side of the turkey as well. It's your elementary bread, celery, onion, broth, and seasoning mixture.
Lap dough over this stuffing, pinching to seal. Prick dough thoroughly with a fork, and brush with remaining 1/2 tablespoon oil. Bake 5 minutes. Detach crust from oven, and top as desired with pizza sauce, pepperoni and grated mozzarella cheese.
